마지막 일곱 재앙(災殃)

우리는 이 본문에 진노의 호리병을 쏟는 역사가 진행됨을 볼 수 있습니다. 야웨께서 신중하게 이 일곱 형벌들을 선택하셨습니다. 이는 짐승의 왕국이 심은 것을 거두는 형벌입니다. 마지막 환난 말기에 세상 형편은 죄악으로 가득 차 있으며 자기를 사랑하며 돈을 사랑하며 자긍하며 교만하며 훼방하며 부모를 거역하며 감사치 아니하며 거룩하지 아니하며 무정하며 원통함을 풀지 아니하며 참소하며 절제하지 못하며 사나우며 선한 것을 좋아 아니하며 배반하여 팔며 조급하며 자고하며 쾌락을 사랑하기를 하나님(엘로힘G2316 / 430) 사랑하는 것보다 더하며 경건( G2151)의 모양은 있으나 경건(敬虔)의 능력(能力)은 부인(否認)합니다(디모데후서 3장 1-5절). 경건이라는 말에는 여호화(야웨G2962) 하나님(엘로힘)과의 생생한 연합에서 오는 능력 또는 실재가 있습니다. 경건한 사람은 야웨의 사랑스러운 친절을 경험하고 실천하는 사람입니다. 그들은 크리스천(G5546 =메시야의 가르침을 지키는 사람)이라고 불리는 사람들이며 그리고 예수[야슈아G2424]를 믿는다고 고백하는 사람들입니다. 그러나 모양만 경건할 뿐 불순종하고 불법을 행하는 즉 경건의 능력을 부인하는 자들이라고 성경은 언급합니다. “항상(恒常) 배우나 진리(眞理G225)의 지식(知識 G1922)에는 결코 이를 수 없느니라”(딤후 3:7).
