아비야 반열: 아비야는 아론의 후손이었으며, 다윗이 제사장들의 직무를 24 계열로 나누었을 때 제8반차의 제사장이었습니다(대상_24:10). 침례인 요한의 아버지 사가랴는 이 계열에 속하는 제사장으로서 매년 2번씩 성전에서 직무를 수행하였습니다.

The Companion Bible에 의하면 첫 직무는 기슬르월 12일부터 18일 즉 12월 6일부터 12일이었습니다. 그리고 두 번째 직무는 시완 12일부터 18일 즉 6월 13일부터 19일이었습니다.
