1  Now¹¹⁶¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ Spirit⁴¹⁵¹ speaketh³⁰⁰⁴ expressly,⁴⁴⁹⁰ that³⁷⁵⁴ in¹⁷²² the latter⁵³⁰⁶ times²⁵⁴⁰ some⁵¹⁰⁰ shall depart⁸⁶⁸ from the³⁵⁸⁸ faith,⁴¹⁰² giving heed⁴³³⁷ to seducing⁴¹⁰⁸ spirits,⁴¹⁵¹ and²⁵³² doctrines¹³¹⁹ of devils;¹¹⁴⁰

1  그러나 성령이G4151 밝히 말씀하시기를 후일에 어떤 사람들이 믿음에서 떠나 미혹케 하는G4108 영G4151과 귀신의G1140 가르침을G1319 좇으리라G4337 하셨으니

1  But the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons,

1    이제 성령께서 분명히 말씀하시나니, 마지막 때에 어떤 자들이 믿음에서 떠나 미혹하는 영들과 마귀들의 교리들을 따르리라.

2  Speaking lies⁵⁵⁷³ in¹⁷²² hypocrisy;⁵²⁷² having their²³⁹⁸ conscience⁴⁸⁹³ seared with a hot iron;²⁷⁴³

2  speaking lies in hypocrisy, being seared in their own conscience,

2   그들 자신의 양심이 화인을 맞아 위선으로 거짓을 말하리라.

3  Forbidding²⁹⁶⁷ to marry,¹⁰⁶⁰ and commanding to abstain⁵⁶⁷ from meats,¹⁰³³ which³⁷³⁹ God²³¹⁶ hath created²⁹³⁶ to be received^{1519, 3336} with³³²⁶ thanksgiving²¹⁶⁹ of them which believe⁴¹⁰³ and²⁵³² know¹⁹²¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ truth.²²⁵

3  혼인을G1060  금하고G2967 식물을G1033  폐하라 할터이나G567  식물은(whichG3739) 하나님이G2316 지으신 바니G2936 믿는 자들과 진리를 아는 자들이 감사함G2169으로G3326 받을 것이니라

3  forbidding to marry, saying to abstain from foods which God has created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

3  혼인을 금하고 음식을 삼가라고 명하리니, 이 음식은 하나님(엘로힘)께서 진리를 믿고 아는 사람들이 감사함으로 받도록 지으신 것이라.

4  For³⁷⁵⁴ every³⁹⁵⁶ creature²⁹³⁸ of God²³¹⁶ is good,²⁵⁷⁰ and²⁵³² nothing³⁷⁶² to be refused,⁵⁷⁹ if it be received²⁹⁸³ with³³²⁶ thanksgiving:²¹⁶⁹

4  하나님의G2316 지으신 모든 것이 선하매 감사함으로 받으면 버릴 것이 없나니

4  For every creation of God is good, and nothing to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving.

4  하나님(야훼)께서 지으신 것은 모두 좋은 것이요, 감사함으로 받으면 아무것도 버릴 것이 없으니,

5  For¹⁰⁶³ it is sanctified³⁷ by¹²²³ the word³⁰⁵⁶ of God²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² prayer.¹⁷⁸³

5  하나님의G2316 말씀과 기도로 거룩하여짐이니라

5  For it is sanctified through the Word of God and prayer.

5  이는 하나님(야훼)의 말씀과 기도로써 거룩하게 됨이라.

6  If thou put the brethren in remembrance^{5294, 3588, 80} of these things,⁵⁰²³ thou shalt be²⁰⁷¹ a good²⁵⁷⁰ minister¹²⁴⁹ of Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ nourished up¹⁷⁸⁹ in the³⁵⁸⁸ words³⁰⁵⁶ of faith⁴¹⁰² and²⁵³² of good²⁵⁷⁰ doctrine,¹³¹⁹ whereunto³⁷³⁹ thou hast attained.³⁸⁷⁷

6  네가 이것으로 형제를 깨우치면 그리스도G5547 예수의G2424 선한 일군이 되어 믿음의 말씀과 네가 좇는 선한 교훈으로 양육을 받으리라

6  Having suggested these things to the brothers, you shall be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the Words of Faith and by the good doctrine which you have followed.

6    네가 이런 것들을 형제들에게 깨우쳐 준다면 너는 네가 따르던 믿음과 좋은 교리의 말씀들로 양육을 받아 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(마쉬악H4899)의 훌륭한 일꾼이 되리라.

7  But¹¹⁶¹ refuse³⁸⁶⁸ profane⁹⁵² and²⁵³² old wives'¹¹²⁶ fables,³⁴⁵⁴ and¹¹⁶¹ exercise¹¹²⁸ thyself⁴⁵⁷² rather unto⁴³¹⁴ godliness.²¹⁵⁰

7  망령되고 허탄한 신화를 버리고 오직 경건에 이르기를 연습하라

7  But refuse profane and old-womanish tales, and exercise yourself to godliness.

7  불경스럽고 늙은 여인들에게나 걸맞는 꾸며낸 이야기를 버리고 오히려 경건에 이르도록 네 자신을 훈련하라.

8  For¹⁰⁶³ bodily⁴⁹⁸⁴ exercise¹¹²⁹ profiteth^{2076, 5624} little:⁽³⁶⁴¹⁾ but¹¹⁶¹ godliness²¹⁵⁰ is²⁰⁷⁶ profitable⁵⁶²⁴ unto⁴³¹⁴ all things,³⁹⁵⁶ having²¹⁹² promise¹⁸⁶⁰ of the life²²²² that now is,³⁵⁶⁸ and²⁵³² of that which is to come.³¹⁹⁵

8  육체의 연습은 약간의 유익이 있으나 경건은 범사에 유익하니 금생과 내생에 약속이 있느니라

8  For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable to all things, having promise of the present life, and of that which is to come.

8  몸의 훈련은 유익이 적지만 경건은 모든 일에 유익하여 현재와 미래에 생명의 약속을 소유하게 하느니라.

9  This is a faithful⁴¹⁰³ saying³⁰⁵⁶ and²⁵³² worthy⁵¹⁴ of all³⁹⁵⁶ acceptation.⁵⁹⁴

9  미쁘다 이 말이여 모든 사람들이 받을 만하도다

9  Faithful is the Word, and worthy of all acceptance.

9  이 말씀은 신실하며 온전히 받아들이기에 합당하도다.

10  For¹⁰⁶³ therefore^{1519, 5124} we both²⁵³² labor²⁸⁷² and²⁵³² suffer reproach,³⁶⁷⁹ because³⁷⁵⁴ we trust¹⁶⁷⁹ in¹⁹⁰⁹ the living²¹⁹⁸ God,²³¹⁶ who³⁷³⁹ is²⁰⁷⁶ the Savior⁴⁹⁹⁰ of all³⁹⁵⁶ men,⁴⁴⁴ especially³¹²² of those that believe.⁴¹⁰³

10  이를 위하여 우리가 수고하고 진력하는 것은 우리 소망을 살아계신 하나님께G2316 둠이니 곧 모든 사람 특히 믿는 자들의 구주시라

10  For to this we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the preserver of all men, especially of those who believe.

10  그러므로 우리가 수고하고 치욕을 감당하는 것은 우리가 살아 계신 하나님(엘로힘)을 신뢰함이니 그분은 모든 사람들 특히 믿는 사람들의 구주시기 때문이라.

11  These things⁵⁰²³ command³⁸⁵³ and²⁵³² teach.¹³²¹

11  네가 이것들을 명하고 가르치라

11  Command and teach these things.

11  이런 것들을 명령하고 가르치라.

12  Let no man³³⁶⁷ despise²⁷⁰⁶ thy⁴⁶⁷⁵ youth;³⁵⁰³ but²³⁵ be¹⁰⁹⁶ thou an example⁵¹⁷⁹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ believers,⁴¹⁰³ in¹⁷²² word,³⁰⁵⁶ in¹⁷²² conversation,³⁹¹ in¹⁷²² charity,²⁶ in¹⁷²² spirit,⁴¹⁵¹ in¹⁷²² faith,⁴¹⁰² in¹⁷²² purity.⁴⁷

12  누구든지 네 연소함을 업신여기지 못하게 하고 오직 말과 행실과 사랑과 믿음과 정절에 대하여 믿는 자에게 본이 되어

12  Let no one despise your youth, but be an example of the believers, in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

12  아무도 너의 연소함을 업신여기지 못하게 하고, 오직 너는 말과 행실과 사랑과 영과 믿음과 순결에 있어서 믿는 자들의 본이 되라.

13  Till²¹⁹³ I come,²⁰⁶⁴ give attendance⁴³³⁷ to reading,³²⁰ to exhortation,³⁸⁷⁴ to doctrine.¹³¹⁹

13  내가 이를 때까지 읽는 것과 권하는 것과 가르치는 것에 착념하라

13  Until I come, attend to reading, to exhortation, to teaching.

13  내가 갈 때까지 읽는 것과 권고하는 것과 교리에 전념하라.

14  Neglect²⁷² not³³⁶¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ gift⁵⁴⁸⁶ that is in¹⁷²² thee,⁴⁶⁷¹ which³⁷³⁹ was given¹³²⁵ thee⁴⁶⁷¹ by¹²²³ prophecy,⁴³⁹⁴ with³³²⁶ the laying on¹⁹³⁶ of the³⁵⁸⁸ hands⁵⁴⁹⁵ of the³⁵⁸⁸ presbytery.⁴²⁴⁴

14  네 속에 있는 은사 곧 장로의 회에서 안수 받을 때에 예언으로 말미암아 받은 것을 조심 없이 말며

14  Do not neglect the gift in you, which was given you by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the body of elders.

14    장로회에서 안수함으로써 예언에 따라 너에게 주어진 네 안에 있는 은사를 소홀히 여기지 말라.

15  Meditate upon³¹⁹¹ these things;⁵⁰²³ give thyself wholly²⁴⁶⁸ to¹⁷²² them;⁵¹²⁵ that²⁴⁴³ thy⁴⁶⁷⁵ profiting⁴²⁹⁷ may appear^{5600, 5318} to¹⁷²² all.³⁹⁵⁶

15  이 모든 일에 전심전력하여 너의 진보를 모든 사람에게 나타나게 하라

15  Meditate on these things; be in these things in order that your improvement may appear to all.

15  이 일들을 묵상하고 이 일들에 전념하여 너의 진전이 모든 사람들에게 드러나게 하라.

16  Take heed¹⁹⁰⁷ unto thyself,⁴⁵⁷² and²⁵³² unto the³⁵⁸⁸ doctrine;¹³¹⁹ continue¹⁹⁶¹ in them:⁸⁴⁶ for¹⁰⁶³ in doing⁴¹⁶⁰ this⁵¹²⁴ thou shalt both²⁵³² save⁴⁹⁸² thyself,⁴⁵⁷² and²⁵³² them that hear¹⁹¹ thee.⁴⁶⁷⁵

16  네가 네 자신과 가르침을 삼가 이 일을 계속하라 이것을 행함으로 네 자신과 네게 듣는 자를 구원하리라

16  Hold on to yourself and to the doctrine; continue in them, for doing this you shall both save yourself and those who hear you.

16   네 자신과 교리에 주의하고 이 일들을 계속하라. 이것을 행함으로써 네 자신과 네 말을 듣는 사람들을 구원하리라.
