1  Moreover,¹¹⁶¹ brethren,⁸⁰ we do you to wit^{1107, 5213} of the³⁵⁸⁸ grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ of God²³¹⁶ bestowed¹³²⁵ on¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ churches¹⁵⁷⁷ of Macedonia;³¹⁰⁹

1  형제들아(brethrenG80) 하나님께서(of GodG2316) 마게도냐(Macedonia;G3109) 교회들에게( theG3588 churchesG1577) 주신(bestowedG1325) 은혜를(of theG3588 graceG5485) 우리가너희에게 알게 하노니( we do you to witG1107,   G5213)

1  And, brothers, we make known to you the grace of God which has been given among the churches of Macedonia;

1   형제들아, 우리는 마케도니아 교회들에게 주신 하나님(엘로힘)의 은혜를 너희에게 알게 하노라.

2  How that³⁷⁵⁴ in¹⁷²² a great⁴¹⁸³ trial¹³⁸² of affliction²³⁴⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ abundance⁴⁰⁵⁰ of their⁸⁴⁶ joy⁵⁴⁷⁹ and²⁵³² their⁸⁴⁶ deep⁸⁹⁹ poverty⁴⁴³² abounded⁴⁰⁵² unto¹⁵¹⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ riches⁴¹⁴⁹ of their⁸⁴⁶ liberality.⁵⁷²

2  환난의 많은 시련 가운데서 저희 넘치는 기쁨과 극한 가난이 저희로 풍성한 연보를 넘치도록 하게 하였느니라

2  that in much testing of trouble, the overflowing of their joy, and the depth of their poverty, abounded to the riches of their generosity.

2  큰 환난의 시련 가운데서도 그들의 기쁨이 넘치고 그들의 심한 궁핍에도 풍부한 연보를 넘치게 하였느니라.

3  For³⁷⁵⁴ to²⁵⁹⁶ their power,¹⁴¹¹ I bear record,³¹⁴⁰ yea, and²⁵³² beyond⁵²²⁸ their power¹⁴¹¹ they were willing of themselves;⁸³⁰

3  내가 증거하노니 저희가 힘대로 할뿐 아니라 힘에 지나도록 자원하여

3  For I testify that according to their ability, and beyond their ability; they gave willingly;

3 내가 증거하노니 그들은 자기들의 능력에 따라 하였고, 또 능력 이상으로 자원하여 하였으며

4  Praying¹¹⁸⁹ us²²⁵⁷ with³³²⁶ much⁴¹⁸³ entreaty³⁸⁷⁴ that we²²⁴⁸ would receive¹²⁰⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ gift,⁵⁴⁸⁵ and²⁵³² take upon us the³⁵⁸⁸ fellowship²⁸⁴² of the³⁵⁸⁸ ministering¹²⁴⁸ to¹⁵¹⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ saints.⁴⁰

4  이 은혜와 성도 섬기는 일에 참여함에 대하여 우리에게 간절히 구하니

4  with much beseeching, begging us that they might receive of us the grace and the fellowship of the ministry to the saints.

4  우리가 은혜를 받을 것과 성도들을 섬기는 일에 동참할 것을 많은 애원으로 우리에게 간청하였느니라.

5  And²⁵³² this they did, not³⁷⁵⁶ as²⁵³¹ we hoped,¹⁶⁷⁹ but²³⁵ first⁴⁴¹² gave¹³²⁵ their own selves¹⁴³⁸ to the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord,²⁹⁶² and²⁵³² unto us²²⁵⁴ by¹²²³ the will²³⁰⁷ of God.²³¹⁶

5  우리의 바라던 것뿐 아니라 저희가 먼저 자신을 주께G2962 드리고 또 하나님G2316 뜻을 좇아 우리에게 주었도다

5  And not as we hoped, but first they gave themselves to the Lord, and to us through the will of God,

5 그들이 이것을 행하였으니, 우리가 바라던 대로가 아니라 하나님(야훼)의 뜻에 따라 먼저 자신들을 주(아도나이H136)께 드리고, 그 다음에 우리에게 주었느니라.

6  Insomuch that we²²⁴⁸ desired³⁸⁷⁰ Titus,⁵¹⁰³ that²⁴⁴³ as²⁵³¹ he had begun,⁴²⁷⁸ so³⁷⁷⁹ he would also²⁵³² finish²⁰⁰⁵ in¹⁵¹⁹ you⁵²⁰⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ same⁵⁰²⁶ grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ also.²⁵³²

6  이러므로 우리가 디도를 권하여 너희 가운데서 시작하였은즉 이 은혜를 그대로 성취케 하라 하였노라

6  for us to call on Titus, that even as he began before, so he would also complete this grace to you also.

6  그러므로 우리가 디도에게 권하였던 것은, 그가 전에 시작하였던 바와 같이, 이 은혜를 너희 안에서도 완성시키라는 것이었느니라.

7  Therefore,²³⁵ as⁵⁶¹⁸ ye abound⁴⁰⁵² in¹⁷²² every³⁹⁵⁶ thing, in faith,⁴¹⁰² and²⁵³² utterance,³⁰⁵⁶ and²⁵³² knowledge,¹¹⁰⁸ and²⁵³² in all³⁹⁵⁶ diligence,⁴⁷¹⁰ and²⁵³² in⁽¹⁵³⁷⁾ your⁵²¹⁶ love²⁶ to¹⁷²² us,²²⁵⁴ see that²⁴⁴³ ye abound⁴⁰⁵² in¹⁷²² this⁵⁰²⁶ grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ also.²⁵³²

7  오직 너희는 믿음과 말과 지식과 모든 간절함과 우리를 사랑하는 이 모든 일에 풍성한 것 같이 이 은혜에도 풍성하게 할지니라

7  But even as you abound in everything, in faith, and in word, and in knowledge, and in all earnestness, and in your love to us; you should abound in this grace also.

7  따라서 너희가 매사에 넘친 것같이 믿음과 언어와 지식과 모든 간절함과 너희가 우리를 사랑하는 일에 있어서도 이 은혜에서와 같이 넘치기를 바라노라.

8  I speak³⁰⁰⁴ not³⁷⁵⁶ by²⁵⁹⁶ commandment,²⁰⁰³ but²³⁵ by occasion of¹²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ forwardness⁴⁷¹⁰ of others,²⁰⁸⁷ and²⁵³² to prove¹³⁸¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ sincerity¹¹⁰³ of your⁵²¹² love.²⁶

8  내가 명령으로 하는 말이 아니요 오직 다른이들의 간절함을 가지고 너희의 사랑의 진실함을 증명코자 함이로라

8  I do not speak according to command, but through the eagerness of others, and testing the trueness of your love.

8  나는 명령으로 말하지 않으며 다만 다른 사람들의 열성을 통하여 너희 사랑의 진지함을 증명하려는 것이라.

9  For¹⁰⁶³ ye know¹⁰⁹⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ of our²²⁵⁷ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ that,³⁷⁵⁴ though he was⁵⁶⁰⁷ rich,⁴¹⁴⁵ yet for your sakes^{1223, 5209} he became poor,⁴⁴³³ that²⁴⁴³ ye⁵²¹⁰ through his¹⁵⁶⁵ poverty⁴⁴³² might be rich.⁴¹⁴⁷

9  우리 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜를 너희가 알거니와 부요하신 자로서 너희를 위하여 가난하게 되심은 그의 가난함을 인하여 너희로 부요케 하려 하심이니라

9  For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, for your sakes He became poor, in order that you might be made rich through His poverty.

9  너희가 우리 주(아도나이) 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(마쉬악H4899)의 은혜를 알거니와 부요하신 분이 너희를 위하여 가난하게 되신 것은 그 가난함으로 인하여 너희를 부요하게 되도록 하심이라.

10  And²⁵³² herein^{1722, 5129} I give¹³²⁵ my advice:¹¹⁰⁶ for¹⁰⁶³ this⁵¹²⁴ is expedient⁴⁸⁵¹ for you,⁵²¹³ who³⁷⁴⁸ have begun before,⁴²⁷⁸ not³⁷⁵⁶ only³⁴⁴⁰ to do,⁴¹⁶⁰ but²³⁵ also²⁵³² to be forward²³⁰⁹ a year ago.^{575, 4070}

10  이 일에 내가 뜻만 보이노니 이것은 너희에게 유익함이라 너희가 일년 전에 행하기를 먼저 시작할뿐 아니라 원하기도 하였은즉

10  And in this I give my judgment; for this is profitable for you, who began before, not only to do, but also to be willing a year ago.

10 이 점에 있어서 나의 의견을 표하노니 일 년 전부터 시작한 행동이었을 뿐만 아니라 원하던 것이니 너희에게 유익한 것이라.

11  ⁽¹¹⁶¹⁾ Now³⁵⁷⁰ therefore²⁵³² perform²⁰⁰⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ doing⁴¹⁶⁰ of it; that³⁷⁰⁴ as²⁵⁰⁹ there was a readiness⁴²⁸⁸ to will,²³⁰⁹ so³⁷⁷⁹ there may be a performance²⁰⁰⁵ also²⁵³² out of¹⁵³⁷ that which ye have.²¹⁹²

11  이제는 행하기를 성취할지니 마음에 원하던 것과 같이 성취하되 있는 대로 하라

11  But now also finish the doing of it, so that, as there was a readiness to will, so also the finishing, giving out of what you have.

11  그러나 이제는 그 행동을 실천하라. 그리하여 마음에 준비했던 대로 너희가 가진 것에서 그렇게 실천하라.

12  For¹⁰⁶³ if¹⁴⁸⁷ there be first⁴²⁹⁵ a willing mind,⁴²⁸⁸ it is accepted²¹⁴⁴ according to that²⁵²⁶ a man⁵¹⁰⁰ hath,^{2192, 1437} and not³⁷⁵⁶ according to that²⁵²⁶ he hath²¹⁹² not.³⁷⁵⁶

12  할 마음만 있으면 있는 대로 받으실 터이요 없는 것을 받지 아니하시리라

12  For if the eagerness is present, it is acceptable according to what one has, and not according to what one does not have.

12    먼저 할 마음만 있다면 사람이 가진 대로 받으실 것이며 없는 것을 받지는 아니하시리라.

13  For¹⁰⁶³ I mean not³⁷⁵⁶ that²⁴⁴³ other men²⁴³ be eased,⁴²⁵ and¹¹⁶¹ ye⁵²¹³ burdened:²³⁴⁷

13  이는 다른 사람들은 평안하게 하고 너희는 곤고하게 하려는 것이 아니요 평균케 하려 함이니

13  For it is not that others may have ease, but you trouble;

13  이는 다른 사람들은 평안하게 하고 너희에게는 짐을 지우려는 것이 아니라

14  But²³⁵ by¹⁵³⁷ an equality,²⁴⁷¹ that now³⁵⁶⁸ at¹⁷²² this time²⁵⁴⁰ your⁵²¹⁶ abundance⁴⁰⁵¹ may be a supply for¹⁵¹⁹ their¹⁵⁶⁵ want,⁵³⁰³ that²⁴⁴³ their¹⁵⁶⁵ abundance⁴⁰⁵¹ also²⁵³² may be¹⁰⁹⁶ a supply for¹⁵¹⁹ your⁵²¹⁶ want:⁵³⁰³ that³⁷⁰⁴ there may be¹⁰⁹⁶ equality:²⁴⁷¹

14  이제 너희의 유여한 것으로 저희 부족한 것을 보충함은 후에 저희 유여한 것으로 너희 부족한 것을 보충하여 평균하게 하려 함이라

14  but by equality in the present time; your abundance for their need, that their abundance also may be for your need; so that there may be equality;

14   균등하게 하려는 것이니, 지금은 너희의 풍족함으로 그들의 부족함을 보충함으로써 후에 그들의 풍족함으로 너희의 부족함을 보충하여 균등함이 있게 하려는 것이니

15  As²⁵³¹ it is written,¹¹²⁵ He³⁵⁸⁸ that had gathered much⁴¹⁸³ had nothing over;^{4121, 3756} and²⁵³² he³⁵⁸⁸ that had gathered little³⁶⁴¹ had no lack.^{1641, 3756}

15  기록한 것 같이 많이 거둔 자도 남지 아니하였고 적게 거둔 자도 모자라지 아니하였느니라

15  as it is written, "He gathering much, he had nothing left over; and he gathering little did not have less."

15기록된 바 "많이 거둔 자도 남는 것이 없고 적게 거둔 자도 부족함이 없었도다."함과 같으니라.

16  But¹¹⁶¹ thanks⁵⁴⁸⁵ be to God,²³¹⁶ which put¹³²⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ same⁸⁴⁶ earnest care⁴⁷¹⁰ into¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ heart²⁵⁸⁸ of Titus⁵¹⁰³ for⁵²²⁸ you.⁵²¹⁶

16  너희를 위하여 같은 간절함을 디도의 마음에도 주시는 하나님께G2316 감사하노니

16  But thanks be to God, who put the same earnest care into the heart of Titus for you.

16 너희를 위하여 디도의 마음에 똑같은 간절함을 주신 하나님(엘로힘)께 감사하노라.

17  For³⁷⁵⁴ indeed³³⁰³ he accepted¹²⁰⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ exhortation;³⁸⁷⁴ but¹¹⁶¹ being⁵²²⁵ more forward,⁴⁷⁰⁷ of his own accord⁸³⁰ he went¹⁸³¹ unto⁴³¹⁴ you.⁵²⁰⁹

17  저가 권함을 받고 더욱 간절함으로 자원하여 너희에게 나아갔고

17  For indeed he accepted the entreaty. But being more earnest, of his own accord he went to you.

17  실로 그가 권고를 받아들였고 더욱 열성을 내어 자원하여 너희에게로 나아갔느니라.

18  And¹¹⁶¹ we have sent⁴⁸⁴² with³³²⁶ him⁸⁴⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ brother,⁸⁰ whose³⁷³⁹ praise¹⁸⁶⁸ is in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ gospel²⁰⁹⁸ throughout¹²²³ all³⁹⁵⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ churches;¹⁵⁷⁷

18  또 저와 함께 한 형제를 보내었으니 이 사람은 복음으로서 모든 교회에서 칭찬을 받는 자요

18  And we have sent with him the brothers whose praise is in the gospel throughout all the churches;

18  우리가 그와 함께 형제를 보내었으니 그는 모든 교회에서 복음으로 칭찬을 받는 자니라.

19  And¹¹⁶¹ not³⁷⁵⁶ that only,³⁴⁴⁰ but²³⁵ who was also²⁵³² chosen⁵⁵⁰⁰ of⁵²⁵⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ churches¹⁵⁷⁷ to travel with⁴⁸⁹⁸ us²²⁵⁷ with⁴⁸⁶² this⁵⁰²⁶ grace,⁵⁴⁸⁵ which is administered¹²⁴⁷ by⁵²⁵⁹ us²²⁵⁷ to⁴³¹⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ glory¹³⁹¹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ same⁸⁴⁶ Lord,²⁹⁶² and²⁵³² declaration of your⁵²¹⁶ ready mind:⁴²⁸⁸

19  이뿐 아니라 저는 동일한 주의G2962 영광과 우리의 원을 나타내기 위하여 여러 교회의 택함을 입어 우리의 맡은 은혜의 일로 우리와 동행하는 자라

19  and not only so, but also he having been chosen by the churches to travel with us with this gift, which is administered by us to the glory of the Lord Himself, and as a witness of your eager mind;

19   그뿐만 아니라 그는 또한 우리와 함께 이 은혜를 가지고 여행하도록 여러 교회에서 선정된 사람이니, 우리가 맡아 일하는 이 은혜는 동일하신 주(아도나이)의 영광을 드러내고, 너희의 준비된 마음을 나타내는 것이니라.

20  Avoiding⁴⁷²⁴ this,⁵¹²⁴ that no³³⁶¹ man⁵¹⁰⁰ should blame³⁴⁶⁹ us²²⁴⁸ in¹⁷²² this⁵⁰²⁶ abundance¹⁰⁰ which is administered¹²⁴⁷ by⁵²⁵⁹ us:²²⁵⁷

20  이것을 조심함은 우리가 맡은 이 거액의 연보로 인하여 아무도 우리를 훼방하지 못하게 하려 함이니

20  avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us;

20  이 일에 조심하는 것은 우리가 맡은 이 거액의 연보에 대하여 아무도 우리를 비난하지 못하게 하려 함이니

21  Providing for⁴³⁰⁶ honest things,²⁵⁷⁰ not³⁷⁵⁶ only³⁴⁴⁰ in the sight¹⁷⁹⁹ of the Lord,²⁹⁶² but²³⁵ also²⁵³² in the sight¹⁷⁹⁹ of men.⁴⁴⁴

21  이는 우리가 주G2962 앞에서만 아니라 사람 앞에서도 선한 일에 조심하려 함이라

21  providing for honest things, not only before the Lord, but also before men.

21  주(야훼) 앞에서뿐만 아니라 사람들 앞에서도 정직한 일들을 하려 함이니라.

22  And¹¹⁶¹ we have sent with⁴⁸⁴² them⁸⁴⁶ our²²⁵⁷ brother,⁸⁰ whom³⁷³⁹ we have oftentimes⁴¹⁷⁸ proved^{1381, (5607)} diligent⁴⁷⁰⁵ in¹⁷²² many things,⁴¹⁸³ but¹¹⁶¹ now³⁵⁷⁰ much⁴¹⁸³ more diligent,⁴⁷⁰⁶ upon the great⁴¹⁸³ confidence⁴⁰⁰⁶ which³⁵⁸⁸ I have in¹⁵¹⁹ you.⁵²⁰⁹

22  또 저희와 함께 우리의 한 형제를 보내었노니 우리가 여러 가지 일에 그 간절한 것을 여러 번 시험하였거니와 이제 저가 너희를 크게 믿은고로 더욱 간절하니라

22  And we have sent with them our brother whom we have often proved earnest in many things, but now much more earnest by the great confidence which I have in you.

22  또 우리는 그들과 함께 우리의 형제를 보내었으니 우리가 여러 번 많은 일로 그 사람이 성실함을 증명하였으며, 또 내가 너희 안에 가지고 있는 큰 신뢰로 지금은 더욱더 성실하니라

23  Whether¹⁵³⁵ any do inquire of⁵²²⁸ Titus,⁵¹⁰³ he is my¹⁶⁹⁹ partner²⁸⁴⁴ and²⁵³² fellowhelper⁴⁹⁰⁴ concerning¹⁵¹⁹ you:⁵²⁰⁹ or¹⁵³⁵ our²²⁵⁷ brethren⁸⁰ be inquired of, they are the messengers⁶⁵² of the churches,¹⁵⁷⁷ and the glory¹³⁹¹ of Christ.⁵⁵⁴⁷

23  디도로 말하면 나의 동무요 너희를 위한 나의 동역자요 우리 형제들로 말하면 여러 교회의 사자들이요 그리스도의G5547 영광이니라

23  If anyone inquires of Titus, he is my partner and fellow-worker for you, or of our brothers, they are the messengers of the churches, the glory of Christ.

23 디도로 말하면 그는 나의 동반자요 너희에게는 동역자이며, 또 우리 형제들로 말하면 그들은 여러 교회의 사자들이요 그리스도(마쉬악)의 영광이니라.

24  Wherefore³⁷⁶⁷ show¹⁷³¹ ye to¹⁵¹⁹ them,⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² before^{1519, 4383} the³⁵⁸⁸ churches,¹⁵⁷⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ proof¹⁷³² of your⁵²¹⁶ love,²⁶ and²⁵³² of our²²⁵⁷ boasting²⁷⁴⁶ on your behalf.^{5228, 5216}

24  그러므로 너희는 여러 교회 앞에서 너희의 사랑과 너희를 대한 우리 자랑의 증거를 저희에게 보이라

24  Therefore show them a proof of your love and of our boasting toward you in the presence of the churches.

24  그러므로 너희는 그들과 교회들 앞에 너희의 사랑과 우리의 자랑의 증거를 너희를 위하여 그들에게 보이라.
