1  Wherefore⁵¹⁰⁵ seeing we²²⁴⁹ also²⁵³² are compassed about⁽⁴⁰²⁹⁾ with⁽²²⁵⁴⁾ so great⁵¹¹⁸ a cloud³⁵⁰⁹ of witnesses,³¹⁴⁴ let us lay aside⁶⁵⁹ every³⁹⁵⁶ weight,³⁵⁹¹ and²⁵³² the sin²⁶⁶ which doth so easily beset²¹³⁹ us, and²⁵³² let us run⁵¹⁴³ with¹²²³ patience⁵²⁸¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ race⁷³ that is set before⁴²⁹⁵ us,²²⁵⁴

1  이러므로 우리에게 구름같이 둘러싼 허다한 증인들이 있으니 모든 무거운 것과 얽매이기 쉬운 죄를 벗어 버리고 인내로써 우리 앞에 당한 경주를 경주하며

1  Therefore since we also are surrounded with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

1  그러므로 이처럼 많은 구름 같은 증인들이 또한 우리를 둘러싸고 있으니, 우리 또한 모든 무거운 것과 쉽게 에워싸는 죄를 벗어 버리고 인내로 우리 앞에 놓인 경주를 하자.

2  Looking⁸⁷² unto¹⁵¹⁹ Jesus²⁴²⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ author⁷⁴⁷ and²⁵³² finisher⁵⁰⁵¹ of our faith;⁴¹⁰² who³⁷³⁹ for⁴⁷³ the³⁵⁸⁸ joy⁵⁴⁷⁹ that was set before⁴²⁹⁵ him⁸⁴⁸ endured⁵²⁷⁸ the cross,⁴⁷¹⁶ despising²⁷⁰⁶ the shame,¹⁵² and⁵⁰³⁷ is set down²⁵²³ at¹⁷²² the right hand¹¹⁸⁸ of the³⁵⁸⁸ throne²³⁶² of God.²³¹⁶

2  믿음의 주요 또 온전케 하시는 이인 예수를G2424 바라보자 저는 그 앞에 있는 즐거움을 위하여 십자가를 참으사 부끄러움을 개의치 아니하시더니 하나님G2316 보좌 우편에 앉으셨느니라

2  looking to Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right of the throne of God.

2  그리고 우리 믿음의 창시자요 완성자이신 예수(야슈아)를 바라보자. 그는 자기 앞에 놓인 즐거움을 위하여 십자가를 견디시고 수치를 개의치 아니하시더니 하나님(엘로힘)의 보좌 오른편에 앉으셨느니라.

3  For¹⁰⁶³ consider³⁵⁷ him that endured⁵²⁷⁸ such⁵¹⁰⁸ contradiction⁴⁸⁵ of⁵²⁵⁹ sinners²⁶⁸ against¹⁵¹⁹ himself,⁸⁴⁸ lest³³⁶³ ye be wearied²⁵⁷⁷ and faint¹⁵⁹⁰ in your⁵²¹⁶ minds.⁵⁵⁹⁰

3  너희가 피곤하여 낙심치 않기 위하여 죄인들의 이같이 자기에게 거역한 일을 참으신 자를 생각하라

3  For consider Him who endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest you be weary and faint in your minds.

3  너희가 마음이 지쳐 낙심치 않기 위하여 자기에게 저질러진 죄인들의 그와 같은 모순된 행동들을 견뎌 내신 그를 깊이 생각하라.

4  Ye have not yet³⁷⁶⁸ resisted⁴⁷⁸ unto³³⁶⁰ blood,¹²⁹ striving⁴⁶⁴ against⁴³¹⁴ sin.²⁶⁶

4  너희가 죄와 싸우되 아직 피 흘리기 까지는 대항치 아니하고

4  You have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

4   너희가 죄와 맞서서 싸우되 아직 피 흘리기까지는 대항하지 않았으며

5  And²⁵³² ye have forgotten¹⁵⁸⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ exhortation³⁸⁷⁴ which³⁷⁴⁸ speaketh¹²⁵⁶ unto you⁵²¹³ as⁵⁶¹³ unto children,⁵²⁰⁷ My³⁴⁵⁰ son,⁵²⁰⁷ despise³⁶⁴³ not³³⁶¹ thou the chastening³⁸⁰⁹ of the Lord,²⁹⁶² nor³³⁶⁶ faint¹⁵⁹⁰ when thou art rebuked¹⁶⁵¹ of⁵²⁵⁹ him:⁸⁴⁶

5  또 아들들에게 권하는 것같이 너희에게 권면하신 말씀을 잊었도다 일렀으되 내 아들아 주의G2962 징계 하심을 경히 여기지 말며 그에게 꾸지람을 받을 때에 낙심하지 말라

5  And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons, "My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are rebuked by Him;

5  또 마치 자녀들에게 하듯 너희에게 권면하신 말씀을 잊었으니, 곧 "내 아들아, 주(야훼)의 징계를 경시하지 말고, 책망을 받을 때에 낙심하지 말라.

6  For¹⁰⁶³ whom³⁷³⁹ the Lord²⁹⁶² loveth²⁵ he chasteneth,³⁸¹¹ and¹¹⁶¹ scourgeth³¹⁴⁶ every³⁹⁵⁶ son⁵²⁰⁷ whom³⁷³⁹ he receiveth.³⁸⁵⁸

6  주께서G2962 그 사랑하시는 자를 징계 하시고 그의 받으시는 아들마다 채찍질 하심이니라 하였으니

6  for whom the Lord loves He chastens, and He scourges every son whom He receives."

6   주(야훼)께서 그의 사랑하시는 자를 징계하시고, 그가 받으시는 아들마다 매질하시느니라."고 하신 것이라.

7  If¹⁴⁸⁷ ye endure⁵²⁷⁸ chastening,³⁸⁰⁹ God²³¹⁶ dealeth⁴³⁷⁴ with you⁵²¹³ as⁵⁶¹³ with sons;⁵²⁰⁷ for¹⁰⁶³ what⁵¹⁰¹ son⁵²⁰⁷ is²⁰⁷⁶ he whom³⁷³⁹ the father³⁹⁶² chasteneth³⁸¹¹ not?³⁷⁵⁶

7  너희가 참음은 징계를 받기 위함이라 하나님이G2316 아들과 같이 너희를 대우 하시나니 어찌 아비가 징계하지 않는 아들이 있으리요

7  If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons, for what son is he whom the father does not chasten?

7  너희가 징계를 견디어 내면 하나님(엘로힘)께서는 너희를 아들들로 대우하실 것이니, 아버지가 징계하지 않는 아들이 어디 있느냐?

8  But¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴⁸⁷ ye be²⁰⁷⁵ without⁵⁵⁶⁵ chastisement,³⁸⁰⁹ whereof³⁷³⁹ all³⁹⁵⁶ are¹⁰⁹⁶ partakers,³³⁵³ then⁶⁸⁶ are²⁰⁷⁵ ye bastards,³⁵⁴¹ and²⁵³² not³⁷⁵⁶ sons.⁵²⁰⁷

8  징계는 다 받는 것이거늘 너희에게 없으면 사생자요 참 아들이 아니니라

8  But if you are without chastisement, of which all are partakers, then you are bastards and not sons.

8  모든 사람들이 참여하는 징계를 너희가 받지 않는다면 너희는 사생아요, 친아들이 아니니라.

9  Furthermore¹⁵³⁴ we have had²¹⁹² fathers³⁹⁶² of our²²⁵⁷ flesh⁴⁵⁶¹ which corrected⁽³⁸¹⁰⁾ us, and²⁵³² we gave them reverence:¹⁷⁸⁸ shall we not³⁷⁵⁶ much⁴¹⁸³ rather³¹²³ be in subjection⁵²⁹³ unto the³⁵⁸⁸ Father³⁹⁶² of spirits,⁴¹⁵¹ and²⁵³² live?²¹⁹⁸

9  또 우리 육체의 아버지가 우리를 징계하여도 공경하였거늘 하물며 모든 영의 아버지께 더욱 복종하여 살려 하지 않겠느냐

9  Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh who corrected us, and we gave them reverence. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?

9   또 우리 육신의 아버지가 우리를 징계하여도 공경하였거늘 영들의 아버지께는 더욱 복종하며 살아야 하지 않겠느냐?

10  For¹⁰⁶³ they³⁵⁸⁸ verily³³⁰³ for⁴³¹⁴ a few³⁶⁴¹ days²²⁵⁰ chastened³⁸¹¹ us after²⁵⁹⁶ their own⁸⁴⁸ pleasure;¹³⁸⁰ but¹¹⁶¹ he³⁵⁸⁸ for¹⁹⁰⁹ our profit,⁴⁸⁵¹ that we might be partakers³³³⁵ of his⁸⁴⁶ holiness.⁴¹

10  저희는 잠시 자기의 뜻대로 우리를 징계하였거니와 오직 하나님은 우리의 유익을 위하여 그의 거룩하심에 참예케 하시느니라

10  For truly they chastened us for a few days according to their own pleasure, but He for our profit, that we might be partakers of His holiness.

10   그들은 정녕 자기들이 옳다고 생각한 대로 며칠 동안 우리를 징계하였지만, 하나님(그분)께서는 우리의 유익을 위하시고 또 우리로 그 분의 거룩하심의 참여자들이 되도록 하시느니라.

11  Now¹¹⁶¹ no^{3956, 3756} chastening³⁸⁰⁹ for⁴³¹⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ present³⁹¹⁸ seemeth¹³⁸⁰ to be¹⁵¹¹ joyous,⁵⁴⁷⁹ but²³⁵ grievous:³⁰⁷⁷ nevertheless¹¹⁶¹ afterward⁵³⁰⁵ it yieldeth⁵⁹¹ the peaceable¹⁵¹⁶ fruit²⁵⁹⁰ of righteousness¹³⁴³ unto them which are exercised¹¹²⁸ thereby.^{1223, 846}

11  무릇 징계가 당시에는 즐거워 보이지 않고 슬퍼 보이나 후에 그로 말미암아 연달한 자에게는 의의 평강한 열매를 맺나니

11  Now chastening for the present does not seem to be joyous, but grievous. Nevertheless afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who are exercised by it.

11  징계가 당시에는 즐겁지 않고 슬픈 것 같으나 후에 그로 인하여 훈련된 자들에게는 화평한 의의 열매를 맺느니라.

12  Wherefore¹³⁵² lift up⁴⁶¹ the hands⁵⁴⁹⁵ which³⁵⁸⁸ hang down,³⁹³⁵ and²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ feeble³⁸⁸⁶ knees;¹¹¹⁹

12  그러므로 피곤한 손과 연약한 무릎을 일으켜 세우고

12  Because of this, straighten up the hands which hang down and the enfeebled knees.

12  그러므로 맥없이 처진 손과 쇠약한 무릎을 일으켜 세우고

13  And²⁵³² make⁴¹⁶⁰ straight³⁷¹⁷ paths⁵¹⁶³ for your⁵²¹⁶ feet,⁴²²⁸ lest³³⁶³ that which is lame⁵⁵⁶⁰ be turned out of the way;¹⁶²⁴ but¹¹⁶¹ let it rather³¹²³ be healed.²³⁹⁰

13  너희 발을 위하여 곧은 길을 만들어 저는 다리로 하여금 어그러지지 않고 고침을 받게하라

13  And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way, but let it rather be healed.

13  너희 발을 위하여 곧은 길을 만들어 절뚝거리는 다리로 길에서 벗어나지 않고 오히려 고침을 받게 하라.

14  Follow¹³⁷⁷ peace¹⁵¹⁵ with³³²⁶ all³⁹⁵⁶ men, and²⁵³² holiness,³⁸ without⁵⁵⁶⁵ which³⁷³⁹ no man³⁷⁶² shall see³⁷⁰⁰ the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord:²⁹⁶²

14  모든 사람으로 더불어 화평함과 거룩함을 좆으라 이것이 없이는 아무도 주를G2962 보지 못하리라

14  Follow peace with all, and holiness, without which no one shall see the Lord;

14  모든 사람과 더불어 화평함과 거룩함을 추구하라. 이것이 없이는 아무도 주(아도나이H136)를 보지 못하리라.

15  Looking diligently¹⁹⁸³ lest³³⁶¹ any man⁵¹⁰⁰ fail⁵³⁰² of⁵⁷⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ of God;²³¹⁶ lest³³⁶¹ any⁵¹⁰⁰ root⁴⁴⁹¹ of bitterness⁴⁰⁸⁸ springing⁵⁴⁵³ up⁵⁰⁷ trouble¹⁷⁷⁶ you, and²⁵³² thereby^{1223, 5026} many⁴¹⁸³ be defiled;³³⁹²

15  너희는 돌아보아 하나님G2316 은혜에 이르지 못하는 자가 있는가 두려워하고 또 쓴 뿌리가 나서 괴롭게 하고 많은 사람이 이로 말미암아 더러움을 입을까 두려워하고

15  looking diligently lest any fail of the grace of God, or lest any root of bitterness springing up disturb you, and by it many are defiled,

15  하나님(엘로힘)의 은혜에 미치지 못하는 자가 없도록 열심히 돌아보고 또 쓴 뿌리가 나와서 너희를 괴롭게 하거나 혹 그것 때문에 많은 사람이 더럽혀지지 않도록 하라.

16  Lest³³⁶¹ there be any⁵¹⁰⁰ fornicator,⁴²⁰⁵ or²²²⁸ profane person,⁹⁵² as⁵⁶¹³ Esau,²²⁶⁹ who³⁷³⁹ for⁴⁷³ one³³⁹¹ morsel of meat¹⁰³⁵ sold⁵⁹¹ his⁸⁴⁸ birthright.⁴⁴¹⁵

16  음행하는 자와 혹 한 그릇 식물을 위하여 장자의 명분을 판 에서와 같이 망령된자가 있을까 두려워 하라

16  (lest there be any fornicator, or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright.

16   음행하는 자나, 한 그릇 음식을 위하여 장자권을 판 에서와 같이, 속된 자가 없도록 하라.

17  For¹⁰⁶³ ye know²⁴⁶⁷ how that³⁷⁵⁴ afterward,³³⁴⁷ when he would²³⁰⁹ have inherited²⁸¹⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ blessing,²¹²⁹ he was rejected:⁵⁹³ for¹⁰⁶³ he found²¹⁴⁷ no³⁷⁵⁶ place⁵¹¹⁷ of repentance,³³⁴¹ though²⁵³⁹ he sought it carefully^{1567, 846} with³³²⁶ tears.¹¹⁴⁴

17  너희의 아는 바와 같이 저가 그후에 축복을 기업으로 받으려고 눈물을 흘리며 구하되 버린 바가 되어 회개할 기회를 얻지 못하였느니라

17  For you know that afterward, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected; for he did not find any place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears).

17    너희가 아는 바와 같이 그 후 그가 축복을 유업으로 받으려고 했을 때 거절당하였으며, 눈물로 간절히 구하였지만 회개의 기회를 얻지 못하였느니라.

18  For¹⁰⁶³ ye are not³⁷⁵⁶ come⁴³³⁴ unto the mount³⁷³⁵ that might be touched,⁵⁵⁸⁴ and²⁵³² that burned²⁵⁴⁵ with fire,⁴⁴⁴² nor²⁵³² unto blackness,¹¹⁰⁵ and²⁵³² darkness,⁴⁶⁵⁵ and²⁵³² tempest,²³⁶⁶

18  너희의 이른 곳은 만질만한 불 붙는 산과 흑운과 흑암과 폭풍과

18  For you have not come to the mountain that might be touched and that burned with fire, nor to blackness and darkness and tempest,

18  너희가 이른 곳은 손으로 만져 볼 수 있는 불붙은 산도 아니요, 캄캄함과 어두움과 폭풍과

19  And²⁵³² the sound²²⁷⁹ of a trumpet,⁴⁵³⁶ and²⁵³² the voice⁵⁴⁵⁶ of words;⁴⁴⁸⁷ which³⁷³⁹ voice they that heard¹⁹¹ entreated³⁸⁶⁸ that the word³⁰⁵⁶ should not³³⁶¹ be spoken to them any more:^{4369, 846}

19  나팔소리와 말하는 소리가 아니라 그 소리를 듣는 자들은 더 말씀 하지 아니하시기를 구하였으니

19  and the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words (which voice they who heard begged that a word should not be spoken to them any more,

19    나팔 소리와 말하는 음성이 있는 산이 아니니라. 그 음성을 들은 자들은 자기들에게 더 말씀하시지 않기를 간구하였느니라.

20  (For¹⁰⁶³ they could not³⁷⁵⁶ endure⁵³⁴² that which was commanded,¹²⁹¹ And if so much as²⁵⁷⁹ a beast²³⁴² touch²³⁴⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ mountain,³⁷³⁵ it shall be stoned,³⁰³⁶ or thrust through²⁷⁰⁰ with a dart:¹⁰⁰²

20  이는 짐승이라도 산에 이르거든 돌로 침을 당하리라 하신 명을 저희가 견디지 못함이라

20  for they could not endure the thing commanded, "And if so much as a beast should touch the mountain, it shall be stoned or thrust through with a dart,"

20   (이는 그들이 만일 들짐승이라도 그 산에 닿는다면 돌로 치거나 창으로 던질 것이라는 명령을 견뎌 내지 못함이라.

21  And²⁵³² so³⁷⁷⁹ terrible⁵³⁹⁸ was²²⁵⁸ the³⁵⁸⁸ sight,⁵³²⁴ that Moses³⁴⁷⁵ said,²⁰³⁶ I exceedingly fear^{(1510), 1630} and²⁵³² quake:)¹⁷⁹⁰

21  그 보이는 바가 이렇듯이 무섭기로 모세도 이르되 내가 심히 두렵고 떨린다 하였으나

21  and so fearful was the sight that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake).

21    그 광경이 그처럼 무섭기에 모세도 말하기를 "내가 심히 두렵고 떨린다." 하였느니라.)

22  But²³⁵ ye are come unto⁴³³⁴ mount³⁷³⁵ Zion,⁴⁶²² and²⁵³² unto the city⁴¹⁷² of the living²¹⁹⁸ God,²³¹⁶ the heavenly²⁰³² Jerusalem,²⁴¹⁹ and²⁵³² to an innumerable company³⁴⁶¹ of angels,³²

22  그러나 너희가 이른 곳은 시온산과 살아계신 하나님의G2316 도성인 하늘의 예루살렘과 천만 천사와

22  But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

22   그러나 너희는 시온 산과, 살아 계신 하나님(엘로힘)의 도성인 하늘의 예루살렘과, 무수한 천사들과,

23  To the general assembly³⁸³¹ and²⁵³² church¹⁵⁷⁷ of the firstborn,⁴⁴¹⁶ which are written⁵⁸³ in¹⁷²² heaven,³⁷⁷² and²⁵³² to God²³¹⁶ the Judge²⁹²³ of all,³⁹⁵⁶ and²⁵³² to the spirits⁴¹⁵¹ of just men¹³⁴² made perfect,⁵⁰⁴⁸

23  하늘에 기록한 장자들의 총회와 교회와 만민의 심판자이신 하나님G2316과 및 온전케 된 의인의 영들과

23  to the general assembly and church of the first-born who are written in Heaven, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

23   하늘에 기록된 첫째로 난 자의 총회와 교회, 모든 것의 심판자이신 하나님(야훼와)과, 온전하게 된 의인들의 영들과,

24  And²⁵³² to Jesus²⁴²⁴ the mediator³³¹⁶ of the new³⁵⁰¹ covenant,¹²⁴² and²⁵³² to the blood¹²⁹ of sprinkling,⁴⁴⁷³ that speaketh²⁹⁸⁰ better things²⁹⁰⁹ than³⁸⁴⁴ that of Abel.⁶

24  새 언약의 중보이신 예수G2424와 및 아벨의 피보다 더 낫게 말하는 뿌린 피니라

24  and to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.

24   새 언약의 중보자이신 예수(야슈아)와, 아벨의 피보다 더욱 좋은 것을 말하는 뿌리는 피에 이르렀느니라.

25  See⁹⁹¹ that ye refuse³⁸⁶⁸ not³³⁶¹ him that speaketh.²⁹⁸⁰ For¹⁰⁶³ if¹⁴⁸⁷ they¹⁵⁶⁵ escaped⁵³⁴³ not³⁷⁵⁶ who refused³⁸⁶⁸ him that spake⁵⁵³⁷ on¹⁹⁰⁹ earth,¹⁰⁹³ much⁴¹⁸³ more³¹²³ shall not we²²⁴⁹ escape, if we turn away from⁶⁵⁴ him³⁵⁸⁸ that speaketh from⁵⁷⁵ heaven:³⁷⁷²

25  너희는 삼가 말하신 자를 거역 하지 말라 땅에서 경고하신 자를 거역한 저희가 피하지 못하였거든 하물며 하늘로 좇아 경고하신 자를 배반하는 우리일까보냐

25  See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape, those who refused him that spoke on earth, much more we shall not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from Heaven,

25 너희는 말씀하시는 그분을 거절하지 말라. 그들이 땅에서 말씀하신 분을 거역하고서도 피하지 못하였거늘, 하물며 우리가 하늘에서 말씀하시는 그분으로부터 돌아선다면, 어찌 더 피할 수 있겠느냐?

26  Whose³⁷³⁹ voice⁵⁴⁵⁶ then⁵¹¹⁹ shook⁴⁵³¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ earth:¹⁰⁹³ but¹¹⁶¹ now³⁵⁶⁸ he hath promised,¹⁸⁶¹ saying,³⁰⁰⁴ Yet²⁰⁸⁹ once more⁵³⁰ I¹⁴⁷³ shake⁴⁵⁷⁹ not³⁷⁵⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ earth¹⁰⁹³ only,³⁴⁴⁰ but²³⁵ also²⁵³² heaven.³⁷⁷²

26  그 때에는 그 소리가 땅을 진동하였거니와 이제는 약속하여 가라사대 내가 또 한번 땅만 아니라 하늘도 진동하리라 하셨느니라

26  whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, "Yet once more I will not only shake the earth, but also the heavens."

26    그 때에는 그분의 음성이 땅을 뒤흔들었거니와 이제는 그분께서 약속하여 말씀하시기를 "내가 또 한 번 땅뿐만 아니라 하늘까지도 뒤흔들리라."고 하셨느니라.

27  And¹¹⁶¹ this³⁵⁸⁸ word, Yet²⁰⁸⁹ once more,⁵³⁰ signifieth¹²¹³ the³⁵⁸⁸ removing³³³¹ of those things that are shaken,⁴⁵³¹ as⁵⁶¹³ of things that are made,⁴¹⁶⁰ that²⁴⁴³ those things which cannot be shaken^{4531, 3361} may remain.³³⁰⁶

27  이 또 한번이라 하심은 진동치 아니하는 것을 영존케 하기 위하여 진동할 것들 곧 만든 것들의 변동될 것을 나타내심이니라

27  And this word, "Yet once more," signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, so that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.

27    이 "또 한 번"이라는 말의 의미는 이미 피조된 것들로서 흔들리는 것들을 제거하고 흔들리지 않는 것들을 남겨 두시려는 것이라.

28  Wherefore¹³⁵² we receiving³⁸⁸⁰ a kingdom⁹³² which cannot be moved,⁷⁶¹ let us have²¹⁹² grace,⁵⁴⁸⁵ whereby^{1223, 3739} we may serve³⁰⁰⁰ God²³¹⁶ acceptably²¹⁰² with³³²⁶ reverence¹²⁷ and²⁵³² godly fear:²¹²⁴

28  그러므로 우리가 진동치 못할 나라를 받았은즉 은혜를 받자 이로 말미암아 경건함과 두려움으로 하나님을G2316 기쁘시게 섬길지니

28  Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear,

28  그러므로 우리가 흔들릴 수 없는 왕국을 받으리니, 은혜를 소유하자. 우리가 이 은혜로써 하나님(엘로힘)을 기쁘게 섬기되, 경외함과 경건한 두려움으로 할지니

29  For^{1063 (2532)} our²²⁵⁷ God²³¹⁶ is a consuming²⁶⁵⁴ fire.⁴⁴⁴²

29  우리 하나님은G2316 소멸하는 불이심이니라

29  for also, "Our God is a consuming fire."
