1  I¹⁴⁷³ charge¹²⁶³ thee therefore³⁷⁶⁷ before¹⁷⁹⁹ God,²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ who shall³¹⁹⁵ judge²⁹¹⁹ the quick²¹⁹⁸ and²⁵³² the dead³⁴⁹⁸ at²⁵⁹⁶ his⁸⁴⁸ appearing²⁰¹⁵ and²⁵³² his⁸⁴⁸ kingdom;⁹³²

1  하나님G2316 앞과 산 자와 죽은 자를 심판 하실 그리스도G5547 예수G2424 앞에서 그의 나타나실 것과 그의 나라를 두고 엄히 명하노니

1  Therefore I solemnly witness before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who is going to judge the living and the dead according to His appearance and His kingdom,

1  그러므로 내가 하나님(엘로힘)과 주(아도나이H136) 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(마쉬악H4899), 곧 그가 나타나실 때와 그의 왕국에서 산 자들과 죽은 자들을 심판하실 분 앞에서 네게 명하노니

2  Preach²⁷⁸⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ word;³⁰⁵⁶ be instant²¹⁸⁶ in season,²¹²² out of season;¹⁷¹ reprove,¹⁶⁵¹ rebuke,²⁰⁰⁸ exhort³⁸⁷⁰ with¹⁷²² all³⁹⁵⁶ longsuffering³¹¹⁵ and²⁵³² doctrine.¹³²²

2  너는 말씀을 전파하라 때를 얻든지 못 얻든지 항상 힘쓰라 범사에 오래 참음과 가르침으로 경책하며 경계하며 권하라

2  preach the Word, be instant in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.

2 너는 말씀을 전파하라. 때를 얻든지 못 얻든지 항상 대비하라. 모든 오래 참음과 교리로 견책하고 책망하며 권고하라.

3  For¹⁰⁶³ the time²⁵⁴⁰ will come²⁰⁷¹ when³⁷⁵³ they will not³⁷⁵⁶ endure⁴³⁰ sound⁵¹⁹⁸ doctrine;¹³¹⁹ but²³⁵ after²⁵⁹⁶ their own²³⁹⁸ lusts¹⁹³⁹ shall they heap²⁰⁰² to themselves¹⁴³⁸ teachers,¹³²⁰ having itching²⁸³³ ears;¹⁸⁹

3  때가 이르리니 사람이 바른 교훈을 받지 아니하며 귀가 가려워서 자기의 사욕을 좇을 스승을 많이 두고

3  For a time will be when they will not endure sound doctrine, but they will heap up teachers to themselves according to their own lusts, tickling the ear.

3   때가 이르리니 사람들이 건전한 교리를 견디지 못하고, 그들 자신의 정욕에 따라 가려운 귀를 즐겁게 해 줄 선생들을 많이 두리라.

4  And²⁵³² they shall turn away⁶⁵⁴ their ears¹⁸⁹ from^{575, (3303)} the³⁵⁸⁸ truth,²²⁵ and¹¹⁶¹ shall be turned¹⁶²⁴ unto¹⁹⁰⁹ fables.³⁴⁵⁴

4  또 그 귀를 진리에서 돌이켜 허탄한 이야기를 좇으리라

4  And they will turn away their ears from the truth and will be turned to myths.

4    또한 그들이 그들의 귀를 진리에서 돌이켜 허탄한 이야기로 돌리리라.

5  But¹¹⁶¹ watch³⁵²⁵ thou⁴⁷⁷¹ in¹⁷²² all things,³⁹⁵⁶ endure afflictions,²⁵⁵³ do⁴¹⁶⁰ the work²⁰⁴¹ of an evangelist,²⁰⁹⁹ make full proof⁴¹³⁵ of thy⁴⁶⁷⁵ ministry.¹²⁴⁸

5  그러나 너는 모든 일에 근신하여 고난을 받으며 전도인의 일을 하며 네 직무를 다하라

5  But you watch in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fully carry out your ministry.

5   그러나 너는 모든 일에 정신을 차리고, 고난을 견디며, 전도자의 일을 하고 네 직무를 완수하라.

6  For¹⁰⁶³ I¹⁴⁷³ am now ready to be offered,^{4689, 2235} and²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ time²⁵⁴⁰ of my¹⁶⁹⁹ departure³⁵⁹ is at hand.²¹⁸⁶

6  관제와 같이 벌써 내가 부음이 되고 나의 떠날 기약이 가까왔도다

6  For I am already being poured out, and the time of my release is here.

6  내가 이미 제물로 드려질 준비가 되어있고 떠날 때가 이르렀도다.

7  I have fought⁷⁵ a good²⁵⁷⁰ fight,⁷³ I have finished⁵⁰⁵⁵ my course,¹⁴⁰⁸ I have kept⁵⁰⁸³ the³⁵⁸⁸ faith:⁴¹⁰²

7  내가 선한 싸움을 싸우고 나의 달려갈 길을 마치고 믿음을 지켰으니

7  I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith.

8  Henceforth³⁰⁶³ there is laid up⁶⁰⁶ for me³⁴²⁷ a crown⁴⁷³⁵ of righteousness,¹³⁴³ which³⁷³⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord,²⁹⁶² the³⁵⁸⁸ righteous¹³⁴² judge,²⁹²³ shall give⁵⁹¹ me³⁴²⁷ at¹⁷²² that¹⁵⁶⁵ day:²²⁵⁰ and¹¹⁶¹ not³⁷⁵⁶ to me¹⁶⁹⁸ only,³⁴⁴⁰ but²³⁵ unto all³⁹⁵⁶ them also that love^{25, 2532} his⁸⁴⁶ appearing.²⁰¹⁵

8  이제 후로는 나를 위하여 의의 면류관이 예비되었으므로 주(아도나이) 곧 의로우신 재판장이 그 날에 내게 주실 것이니 내게만 아니라 주(그분)의 나타나심을 사모하는 모든 자에게니라

8  Now there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that Day; and not to me only, but also to all those who love His appearing.

8  이후로는 나를 위하여 의의 면류관이 마련되어 있어 의로운 재판관이신 주(아도나이)께서 그 날에 그것을 내게 주실 것이며 또 나뿐만 아니라 그의 나타나심을 사모하는 모든 사람에게도 주실 것이라.

9  Do thy diligence⁴⁷⁰⁴ to come²⁰⁶⁴ shortly⁵⁰³⁰ unto⁴³¹⁴ me:³¹⁶⁵

9  너는 어서 속히 내게로 오라

9  Make haste to come to me quickly.

9  너는 내게로 속히 오도록 힘쓰라.

10  For¹⁰⁶³ Demas¹²¹⁴ hath forsaken¹⁴⁵⁹ me,³¹⁶⁵ having loved²⁵ this present³⁵⁶⁸ world,¹⁶⁵ and²⁵³² is departed⁴¹⁹⁸ unto¹⁵¹⁹ Thessalonica;²³³² Crescens²⁹¹³ to¹⁵¹⁹ Galatia,¹⁰⁵³ Titus⁵¹⁰³ unto¹⁵¹⁹ Dalmatia.¹¹⁴⁹

10  데마는 이 세상을 사랑하여 나를 버리고 데살로니가로 갔고 그레스게는 갈라디아로 디도는 달마디아로 갔고

10  For Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and he has departed to Thessalonica. Crescens went to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia.

10 데마는 이 세상을 사랑하여 나를 버리고 데살로니가로 갔고, 크레스케는 갈라디아로, 디도는 달마티아로 갔으며

11  Only³⁴⁴¹ Luke³⁰⁶⁵ is²⁰⁷⁶ with³³²⁶ me.¹⁷⁰⁰ Take³⁵³ Mark,³¹³⁸ and bring⁷¹ him with³³²⁶ thee:⁴⁵⁷² for¹⁰⁶³ he is²⁰⁷⁶ profitable²¹⁷³ to me³⁴²⁷ for¹⁵¹⁹ the ministry.¹²⁴⁸

11  누가만 나와 함께 있느니라 네가 올 때에 마가를 데리고 오라 저가 나의 일에 유익하니라

11  Only Luke is with me. Take Mark and bring him with you, for he is profitable to me for the ministry.

11  누가만 나와 함께 있느니라. 마가를 데리고 오라. 그는 내 사역에 필요한 사람이니라.

12  And¹¹⁶¹ Tychicus⁵¹⁹⁰ have I sent⁶⁴⁹ to¹⁵¹⁹ Ephesus.²¹⁸¹

12  두기고는 에베소로 보내었노라

12  And I sent Tychicus to Ephesus.

12  나는 투기고를 에베소에 보냈느니라.

13  The³⁵⁸⁸ cloak⁵³⁴¹ that³⁷³⁹ I left⁶²⁰ at¹⁷²² Troas⁵¹⁷⁴ with³⁸⁴⁴ Carpus,²⁵⁹¹ when thou comest,²⁰⁶⁴ bring⁵³⁴² with thee, and²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ books,⁹⁷⁵ but especially³¹²² the³⁵⁸⁸ parchments.³²⁰⁰

13  네가 올 때에 내가 드로아 가보의 집에 둔 겉옷을 가지고 오고 또 책은 특별히 가죽 종이에 쓴 것을 가져오라

13  When you come, bring the cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus, and the books, especially the parchments.

13  네가 올 때 내가 트로아에 있는 카포의 집에 두고 온 외투를 가져오라. 또 책들을 가져오되 특히 양피지로 된 것을 가져오라.

14  Alexander²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ coppersmith⁵⁴⁷¹ did¹⁷³¹ me³⁴²⁷ much⁴¹⁸³ evil:²⁵⁵⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord²⁹⁶² reward⁵⁹¹ him⁸⁴⁶ according²⁵⁹⁶ to his⁸⁴⁶ works:²⁰⁴¹

14  구리 장색 알렉산더가 내게 해를 많이 보였으매 주께서G2962 그 행한대로 저에게 갚으시리니

14  Alexander the coppersmith showed many evil things to me. The Lord will give back to him according to his works.

14  구리세공자 알렉산더가 내게 많은 해를 끼쳤으니, 주(야훼)께서 그의 행위대로 그에게 갚으시리라.

15  Of whom³⁷³⁹ be thou ware^{5442, 4771} also;²⁵³² for¹⁰⁶³ he hath greatly³⁰²⁹ withstood⁴³⁶ our²²⁵¹ words.³⁰⁵⁶

15  너도 저를 주의하라 저가 우리 말을 심히 대적하였느니라

15  You also should beware of him, for he has greatly withstood our words.

15  너도 그를 경계하라. 그가 우리의 말에 심히 대항하였느니라.

16  At¹⁷²² my³⁴⁵⁰ first⁴⁴¹³ answer⁶²⁷ no man³⁷⁶² stood with⁴⁸³⁶ me,³⁴²⁷ but²³⁵ all³⁹⁵⁶ men forsook¹⁴⁵⁹ me:³¹⁶⁵ I pray God that it may not³³⁶¹ be laid to their charge.^{3049, 846}

16  내가 처음 변명할 때에 나와 함께한 자가 하나도 없고 다 나를 버렸으나 저희에게 허물을 돌리지 않기를 원하노라

16  At my first answer no one was beside me, but all deserted me. May it not be laid to their charge.

16  내가 처음 변호할 때에는 나와 함께한 사람이 아무도 없었으며 모든 사람이 나를 버렸느니라. 그러나 그것이 그들의 탓으로 돌아가지 않기를 바라노라.

17  Notwithstanding¹¹⁶¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord²⁹⁶² stood with³⁹³⁶ me,³⁴²⁷ and²⁵³² strengthened¹⁷⁴³ me;³¹⁶⁵ that²⁴⁴³ by¹²²³ me¹⁷⁰⁰ the³⁵⁸⁸ preaching²⁷⁸² might be fully known,⁴¹³⁵ and²⁵³² that all³⁹⁵⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ Gentiles¹⁴⁸⁴ might hear:¹⁹¹ and²⁵³² I was delivered⁴⁵⁰⁶ out of¹⁵³⁷ the mouth⁴⁷⁵⁰ of the lion.³⁰²³

17  주께서G2962 내 곁에 서서 나를 강건케 하심은 나로 말미암아 전도의 말씀이 온전히 전파되어 이방인으로 듣게 하려 하심이니 내가 사자의 입에서 건지웠느니라

17  But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, that through me the preaching might be fulfilled, and that all the nations might hear. And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

17   그러나 주(아도나이)께서 내 곁에 서서 내게 힘을 주신 것은 나를 통하여 복음 전파가 온전히 수행되어 모든 이방인들로 그것을 들을 수 있게 하려 하심이며, 또 내가 사자의 입에서 구출되었느니라.

18  And²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord²⁹⁶² shall deliver⁴⁵⁰⁶ me³¹⁶⁵ from⁵⁷⁵ every³⁹⁵⁶ evil⁴¹⁹⁰ work,²⁰⁴¹ and²⁵³² will preserve⁴⁹⁸² me unto¹⁵¹⁹ his⁸⁴⁸ heavenly²⁰³² kingdom:⁹³² to whom³⁷³⁹ be glory¹³⁹¹ forever and ever.^{1519, 165, 165} Amen.²⁸¹

18  주께서G2962 나를 모든 악한 일에서 건져내시고 또 그의 천국에 들어가도록 구원하시리니 그에게 영광이 세세 무궁토록 있을지어다 아멘

18  And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work and will preserve me to His heavenly kingdom, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

18  주(아도나이)께서는 나를 모든 악한 일에서 구해 내시고, 그의 하늘나라에 이르기까지 나를 보호하시리니, 영광이 그 분께 영원 무궁토록 있기를 원하노라. 아멘.

19  Salute⁷⁸² Prisca⁴²⁵¹ and²⁵³² Aquila,²⁰⁷ and²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ household³⁶²⁴ of Onesiphorus.³⁶⁸³

19  브리스가와 아굴라와 및 오네시보로의 집에 문안하라

19  Greet Priscilla and Aquila and the household of Onesiphorus.

19   프리스카와 아퀼라 그리고 오네시포로의 집에 문안하라.

20  Erastus²⁰³⁷ abode³³⁰⁶ at¹⁷²² Corinth:²⁸⁸² but¹¹⁶¹ Trophimus⁵¹⁶¹ have I left⁶²⁰ at¹⁷²² Miletum³³⁹⁹ sick.⁷⁷⁰

20  에라스도는 고린도에 머물렀고 드로비모는 병듦으로 밀레도에 두었노니

20  Erastus stayed at Corinth, but Trophimus I left sick at Miletus.

20 에라스토는 고린도에 머물러 있고, 트로피모는 몸이 아파서 밀레토에 남겨 두었느니라.

21  Do thy diligence⁴⁷⁰⁴ to come²⁰⁶⁴ before⁴²⁵³ winter.⁵⁴⁹⁴ Eubulus²¹⁰³ greeteth⁷⁸² thee⁴⁵⁷¹ and²⁵³² Pudens,⁴²²⁷ and²⁵³² Linus,³⁰⁴⁴ and²⁵³² Claudia,²⁸⁰³ and²⁵³² all³⁹⁵⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ brethren.⁸⁰

21  겨울 전에 너는 어서 오라 으불로와 부데와 리노와 글라우디아와 모든 형제가 다 네게 문안하느니라

21  Try to come before winter. Eubulus greets you, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brothers.

21   겨울이 되기 전에 오도록 힘쓰라. 유불로와 푸데와 리노와 클라우디아와 모든 형제가 너에게 문안하느니라.

22  The³⁵⁸⁸ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ be with³³²⁶ thy⁴⁶⁷⁵ spirit.⁴¹⁵¹ Grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ be with³³²⁶ you.⁵²¹⁶ Amen.²⁸¹

22  나는 주께서G2962 네 심령에 함께 계시기를 바라노니 은혜가 너희와 함께 있을지어다

22  May the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.
