1  Masters,²⁹⁶² give³⁹³⁰ unto your servants¹⁴⁰¹ that which is just¹³⁴² and²⁵³² equal;²⁴⁷¹ knowing¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ ye⁵²¹⁰ also²⁵³² have²¹⁹² a Master²⁹⁶² in¹⁷²² heaven.³⁷⁷²

1  상전들아 의와 공평을 종들에게 배풀지니 너희에게도 하늘에 상전이 계심을 알지어다

1  Masters, give to your slaves what is just and equal, knowing that you also have a Master in Heaven.

1  주인들아, 너희에게도 하늘에 주인이 계심을 알고 종들에게 의와 공평을 베풀라.

2  Continue⁴³⁴² in prayer,⁴³³⁵ and watch¹¹²⁷ in¹⁷²² the same⁸⁴⁶ with¹⁷²² thanksgiving;²¹⁶⁹

2  기도를 항상 힘쓰고 기도에 감사함으로 깨어 있으라

2  Continue in prayer and watch in it with thanksgiving,

2   꾸준히 기도하고 감사함으로 기도에 깨어 있으라.

3  Withal²⁶⁰ praying⁴³³⁶ also²⁵³² for⁴⁰¹² us,²²⁵⁷ that²⁴⁴³ God²³¹⁶ would open⁴⁵⁵ unto us²²⁵⁴ a door²³⁷⁴ of utterance,³⁰⁵⁶ to speak²⁹⁸⁰ the³⁵⁸⁸ mystery³⁴⁶⁶ of Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ for¹²²³ which³⁷³⁹ I am also in bonds:^{1210, 2532}

3  또한 우리를 위하여 기도하되 하나님이G2316 전도할 문을 우리에게 열어주사 그리스도의G5547 비밀을 말하게 하시기를 구하라 내가 이것을 인하여 매임을 당하였노라

3  praying together about us also, that God may open to us a door of the Word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I also have been bound,

3    또한 하나님(엘로힘)께서 우리에게 말문을 열어 주사 그리스도(마쉬악H4899)의 신비를 말하게 하여 주시도록 기도하라. 이로 인하여 내가 매인 바 되었나니

4  That²⁴⁴³ I may make it manifest,^{5319, 846} as⁵⁶¹³ I³¹⁶⁵ ought¹¹⁶³ to speak.²⁹⁸⁰

4  그리하면 내가 마땅히 할 말로써 이 비밀을 나타내리라

4  that I may make it clear, as I ought to speak.

4   이는 내가 마땅히 해야 할 말을 하여 신비를 나타내려 함이라.

5  Walk⁴⁰⁴³ in¹⁷²² wisdom⁴⁶⁷⁸ toward⁴³¹⁴ them that are without,¹⁸⁵⁴ redeeming¹⁸⁰⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ time.²⁵⁴⁰

5  외인을 향하여서는 지혜로 행하여 세월을 아끼라

5  Walk in wisdom toward those on the outside, redeeming the time.

5  외부 사람들에게는 지혜로 행하여 시간을 사서 얻으라.

6  Let your⁵²¹⁶ speech³⁰⁵⁶ be always³⁸⁴² with¹⁷²² grace,⁵⁴⁸⁵ seasoned⁷⁴¹ with salt,²¹⁷ that ye may know¹⁴⁹² how⁴⁴⁵⁹ ye⁵²⁰⁹ ought¹¹⁶³ to answer⁶¹¹ every man.^{1520, 1538}

6  너희 말을 항상 은혜 가운데서 소금으로 고루게 함같이 하라 그리하면 각 사람에게 마땅히 대답할 것을 알리라

6  Let your speech be always with grace, having been seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

6  너희의 말이 항상 은혜와 더불어 있게 하고 소금으로 맛을 내듯 하라. 이는 각 사람에게 어떻게 대답해야 하는가를 알게 하려는 것이라.

7  All³⁹⁵⁶ my state^{2596, 1691} shall Tychicus⁵¹⁹⁰ declare¹¹⁰⁷ unto you,⁵²¹³ who is a beloved²⁷ brother,⁸⁰ and²⁵³² a faithful⁴¹⁰³ minister¹²⁴⁹ and²⁵³² fellow servant⁴⁸⁸⁹ in¹⁷²² the Lord:²⁹⁶²

7  두기고가 내 사정을 다 너희에게 알게 하리니 그는 사랑을 받는 형제요 신실한 일군이요 주G2962 안에서 함께 된 종이라

7  Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister and fellow-servant in the Lord, will make known to you all things about me.

7  나에 관한 모든 일은 주(야훼) 안에서 사랑하는 형제요 신실한 일꾼인, 동료 종 투기고가 너희에게 알게 하리라.

8  Whom³⁷³⁹ I have sent³⁹⁹² unto⁴³¹⁴ you⁵²⁰⁹ for¹⁵¹⁹ the same purpose,^{846, 5124} that²⁴⁴³ he might know¹⁰⁹⁷ your estate,^{4012, 5216} and²⁵³² comfort³⁸⁷⁰ your⁵²¹⁶ hearts;²⁵⁸⁸

8  내가 저를 특별히 너희에게 보낸 것은 너희로 우리 사정을 알게하고 너희 마음을 위로하게 하려 함이라

8  I sent him to you for this very purpose, that he might know the things about you, and that he might comfort your hearts,

8   바로 이 일을 위하여 내가 그를 너희에게 보내노니, 그로 하여금 너희의 사정을 알게 하고 또 너희 마음을 위로하게 하려는 것이라.

9  With⁴⁸⁶² Onesimus,³⁶⁸² a faithful⁴¹⁰³ and²⁵³² beloved²⁷ brother,⁸⁰ who³⁷³⁹ is²⁰⁷⁶ one of¹⁵³⁷ you.⁵²¹⁶ They shall make known¹¹⁰⁷ unto you⁵²¹³ all things³⁹⁵⁶ which are done here.⁵⁶⁰²

9  신실하고 사랑을 받는 형제 오네시모를 함께 보내노니 그는 너희에게서 온 사람이라 저희가 여기 일을 다 너희에게 알게 하리라

9  along with Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known to you all things here.

9   신실하며 사랑하는 형제 오네시모도 함께 보내노니, 그는 너희에게서 온 사람이라. 그들이 여기에서 있었던 일을 다 너희에게 알게 하리라.

10  Aristarchus⁷⁰⁸ my³⁴⁵⁰ fellow prisoner⁴⁸⁶⁹ saluteth⁷⁸² you,⁵²⁰⁹ and²⁵³² Mark,³¹³⁸ sister's son⁴³¹ to Barnabas,⁹²¹ (touching⁴⁰¹² whom³⁷³⁹ ye received²⁹⁸³ commandments:¹⁷⁸⁵ if¹⁴³⁷ he come²⁰⁶⁴ unto⁴³¹⁴ you,⁵²⁰⁹ receive¹²⁰⁹ him;)⁸⁴⁶

10  나와 함께 갇힌 아리스다고와 바나바의 생질 마가와 (이 마가에 대하여 너희가 명을 받았으매 그가 이르거든 영접하라)

10  Aristarchus my fellow prisoner greets you, and Mark, the cousin of Barnabas (regarding whom you received commandments; if he comes to you, receive him),

10  나와 함께 갇힌 아리스타코와 바나바의 조카 마르코가 너희에게 문안하노라. (그에 관해서는 너희가 명령을 받았으니, 그가 가면 영접하라.)

11  And²⁵³² Jesus,²⁴²⁴ which is called³⁰⁰⁴ Justus,²⁴⁵⁹ who are⁵⁶⁰⁷ of¹⁵³⁷ the circumcision.⁴⁰⁶¹ These³⁷⁷⁸ only³⁴⁴¹ are my fellow workers⁴⁹⁰⁴ unto¹⁵¹⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ kingdom⁹³² of God,²³¹⁶ which³⁷⁴⁸ have been¹⁰⁹⁶ a comfort³⁹³¹ unto me.³⁴²⁷

11  유스도라 하는 예수G2424도 너희에게 문안하니 저희는 할례당이라 이들만 하나님G2316 나라를 위하여 함께 역사하는 자들이니 이런 사람들이 나의 위로가 되었느니라

11  and greetings from Jesus, who is called Justus, those being of the circumcision. These alone are my fellow-workers for the kingdom of God, who became a comfort to me.

11  또 유스토라 하는 예수(야슈아)도 문안하니, 이들은 할례파에서 온 사람이라. 이 사람들만이 하나님(엘로힘)의 나라를 위한 동역자들이라. 그들이 나에게 위로가 되었느니라.

12  Epaphras,¹⁸⁸⁹ who³⁵⁸⁸ is one of¹⁵³⁷ you,⁵²¹⁶ a servant¹⁴⁰¹ of Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ saluteth⁷⁸² you,⁵²⁰⁹ always³⁸⁴² laboring fervently⁷⁵ for⁵²²⁸ you⁵²¹⁶ in¹⁷²² prayers,⁴³³⁵ that²⁴⁴³ ye may stand²⁴⁷⁶ perfect⁵⁰⁴⁶ and²⁵³² complete⁴¹³⁷ in¹⁷²² all³⁹⁵⁶ the will²³⁰⁷ of God.²³¹⁶

12  그리스도G5547 예수의G2424 종인 너희에게서 온 에바브라가 너희에게 문안하니 저가 항상 너희를 위하여 애써 기도하여 너희로 하나님의G2316 모든 뜻 가운데서 완전하고 확신 있게 서기를 구하나니

12  Epaphras greets you, he being of you, a servant of Christ, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

12 너희 가운데 한 사람이요 그리스도(마쉬악)의 종인 에파프라가 너희에게 문안하노라. 그는 항상 너희를 위하여 열렬히 기도하니, 이는 너희가 하나님(엘로힘)의 모든 뜻 안에서 완전하고 온전하게 서도록 하기 위함이라.

13  For¹⁰⁶³ I bear him record,^{3140, 846} that³⁷⁵⁴ he hath²¹⁹² a great⁴¹⁸³ zeal²²⁰⁵ for⁵²²⁸ you,⁵²¹⁶ and²⁵³² them³⁵⁸⁸ that are in¹⁷²² Laodicea,²⁹⁹³ and²⁵³² them³⁵⁸⁸ in¹⁷²² Hierapolis.²⁴⁰⁴

13  그가 너희와 라오디게아에 있는 자들과 히에라볼리에 있는 자들을 위하여 많이 수고하는 것을 내가 증거하노라

13  For I bear him record that he has a great zeal for you and for those who are in Laodicea and those in Hierapolis.

13 내가 그에 대하여 증거하노니, 그가 너희와 라오디케아에 있는 사람들과 히에라폴리에 있는 사람들을 위하여 많이 수고하였느니라.

14  Luke,³⁰⁶⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ beloved²⁷ physician,²³⁹⁵ and²⁵³² Demas,¹²¹⁴ greet⁷⁸² you.⁵²⁰⁹

14  사랑을 받는 의원 누가와 또 데마가 너희에게 문안하느니라

14  Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you.

14  사랑하는 의사 누가와 데마가 너희에게 문안하느니라.

15  Salute⁷⁸² the³⁵⁸⁸ brethren⁸⁰ which are in¹⁷²² Laodicea,²⁹⁹³ and²⁵³² Nymphas,³⁵⁶⁴ and²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ church¹⁵⁷⁷ which is in²⁵⁹⁶ his⁸⁴⁶ house.³⁶²⁴

15  라오디게아에 있는 형제들과 눔바와 그 여자의 집에 있는 교회에 문안하고

15  Greet the brothers who are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church in his house.

15  라오디케아에 있는 형제들과 눔파와 그의 집에 있는 교회에도 문안하노라.

16  And²⁵³² when³⁷⁵² this epistle¹⁹⁹² is read³¹⁴ among³⁸⁴⁴ you,⁵²¹³ cause⁴¹⁶⁰ that²⁴⁴³ it be read³¹⁴ also²⁵³² in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ church¹⁵⁷⁷ of the Laodiceans;²⁹⁹⁴ and²⁵³² that ye⁵²¹⁰ likewise²⁵³² read³¹⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ epistle from¹⁵³⁷ Laodicea.²⁹⁹³

16  이 편지를 너희에게서 읽은 후에 라오디게아인의 교회에서도 읽게 하고 또 라오디게아로서 오는 편지를 너희도 읽으라

16  And when this letter is read before you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans, and that you also read the letter of Laodicea.

16    이 편지를 너희 가운데서 읽고 나면 라오디케아인들의 교회에서도 읽게 하고, 또 라오디케아에서 온 편지를 너희도 읽으라.

17  And²⁵³² say²⁰³⁶ to Archippus,⁷⁵¹ Take heed⁹⁹¹ to the³⁵⁸⁸ ministry¹²⁴⁸ which³⁷³⁹ thou hast received³⁸⁸⁰ in¹⁷²² the Lord,²⁹⁶² that²⁴⁴³ thou fulfill⁴¹³⁷ it.⁸⁴⁶

17  아킵보에게 이르기를 주G2962 안에서 받은 직분을 삼가 이루라고 하라

17  And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you fulfill it.

17  "네가 주(야훼) 안에서 받은 직분을 주의하여 그것을 수행하라."고 아킵포에게 말하라.

18  The³⁵⁸⁸ salutation⁷⁸³ by the hand⁵⁴⁹⁵ of me¹⁶⁹⁹ Paul.³⁹⁷² Remember³⁴²¹ my³⁴⁵⁰ bonds.¹¹⁹⁹ Grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ be with³³²⁶ you.⁵²¹⁶ Amen.²⁸¹

18  나 바울은 친필로 문안하노니 나의 매인 것을 생각하라 은혜가 너희에게 있을지어다

18  The salutation of Paul, by my own hand. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you. Amen.
