1  Paul³⁹⁷² and²⁵³² Timothy,⁵⁰⁹⁵ the servants¹⁴⁰¹ of Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ to all³⁹⁵⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ saints⁴⁰ in¹⁷²² Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ Jesus²⁴²⁴ which are⁵⁶⁰⁷ at¹⁷²² Philippi,⁵³⁷⁵ with⁴⁸⁶² the bishops¹⁹⁸⁵ and²⁵³² deacons:¹²⁴⁹

1  그리스도G5547 예수의G2424 종 바울과 디모데는 그리스도G5547 예수G2424 안에서 빌립보에 사는 모든 성도와 또는 감독들과 집사들에게 편지하노니

1  Paul and Timothy, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the overseers and deacons.

1  예수(야슈아) 그리스도(마쉬악H4899)의 종 바울과 디모데는 빌립보에 있는 그리스도(마쉬악) 예수(야슈아) 안의 모든 성도들과 감독들과 집사들에게 편지하노니,

2  Grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ be unto you,⁵²¹³ and²⁵³² peace,¹⁵¹⁵ from⁵⁷⁵ God²³¹⁶ our²²⁵⁷ Father,³⁹⁶² and²⁵³² from the Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ.⁵⁵⁴⁷

2  하나님G2316 우리 아버지와 주G2962 예수G2424 그리스도에게로서G5547 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 있을지어다

2  Grace to you, and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

2  하나님(야훼) 우리 아버지와 주(아도나이H136) 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(마쉬악으)로부터 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 있을지어다.

3  I thank²¹⁶⁸ my³⁴⁵⁰ God²³¹⁶ upon¹⁹⁰⁹ every³⁹⁵⁶ remembrance³⁴¹⁷ of you,⁵²¹⁶

3  내가 너희를 생각할 때마다 나의 하나님께G2316 감사하며

3  I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

3   내가 너희를 생각할 때마다 나의 하나님(엘로힘)께 감사하노니

4  Always³⁸⁴² in¹⁷²² every³⁹⁵⁶ prayer¹¹⁶² of mine³⁴⁵⁰ for⁵²²⁸ you⁵²¹⁶ all³⁹⁵⁶ making⁴¹⁶⁰ request¹¹⁶² with³³²⁶ joy,⁵⁴⁷⁹

4  간구할 때마다 너희 무리를 위하여 기쁨으로 항상 간구함은

4  always in every prayer of mine making my request for you all with joy

4   너희 모두를 위하여 내가 기도할 때마다 항상 기쁨으로 구하는 것은,

5  For¹⁹⁰⁹ your⁵²¹⁶ fellowship²⁸⁴² in¹⁵¹⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ gospel²⁰⁹⁸ from⁵⁷⁵ the first⁴⁴¹³ day²²⁵⁰ until⁸⁹¹ now;³⁵⁶⁸

5  첫날부터 이제까지 복음에서 너희가 교제함을 인함이라

5  for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

5   첫날부터 지금까지 너희가 복음에 동참함이라.

6  Being confident³⁹⁸² of this very thing,^{5124, 848} that³⁷⁵⁴ he which hath begun¹⁷²⁸ a good¹⁸ work²⁰⁴¹ in¹⁷²² you⁵²¹³ will perform²⁰⁰⁵ it until⁸⁹¹ the day²²⁵⁰ of Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ:⁵⁵⁴⁷

6  너희 속에 착한 일을 시작하신 이가 그리스도G5547 예수G2424의 날까지 이루실 줄을 우리가 확신하노라

6  being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ,

6   우리가 이것을 확신하노니, 너희 안에서 선한 일을 시작하신 그 분께서 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(하 마쉬악)의 날까지 그 일을 완성하시리라.

7  Even as²⁵³¹ it is²⁰⁷⁶ meet¹³⁴² for me¹⁶⁹⁸ to think⁵⁴²⁶ this⁵¹²⁴ of⁵²²⁸ you⁵²¹⁶ all,³⁹⁵⁶ because I³¹⁶⁵ have²¹⁹² you⁵²⁰⁹ in¹⁷²² my heart;²⁵⁸⁸ inasmuch as both⁵⁰³⁷ in¹⁷²² my³⁴⁵⁰ bonds,¹¹⁹⁹ and²⁵³² in the³⁵⁸⁸ defense⁶²⁷ and²⁵³² confirmation⁹⁵¹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ gospel,²⁰⁹⁸ ye⁵²⁰⁹ all³⁹⁵⁶ are⁵⁶⁰⁷ partakers⁴⁷⁹¹ of my³⁴⁵⁰ grace.⁵⁴⁸⁵

7  내가 너희 무리를 위하여 이와 같이 생각하는 것이 마땅하니 이는 너희가 내 마음에 있음이며 나의 매임과 복음을 변명함과 확정함에 너희가 다 나와 함께 은혜에 참예한 자가 됨이라

7  even as it is righteous for me to think this of you all, because you have me in your heart, inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you are all partakers of my grace.

7  내가 너희 모두에 대하여 이렇게 생각하는 것이 마땅하니, 이는 내가 너희를 내 마음 속에 간직함이며, 또 나의 갇힘과 복음을 지키고 확정함에 있어서 너희 모두가 나의 은혜에 동참자가 됨이라.

8  For¹⁰⁶³ God²³¹⁶ is²⁰⁷⁶ my³⁴⁵⁰ record,³¹⁴⁴ how⁵⁶¹³ greatly I long after¹⁹⁷¹ you⁵²⁰⁹ all³⁹⁵⁶ in¹⁷²² the bowels⁴⁶⁹⁸ of Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ.⁵⁵⁴⁷

8  내가 예수G2424 그리스도의G5547 심장으로 너희 무리를 어떻게 사모하는지 하나님이G2316 내 증인이시니라

8  For God is my witness how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

8  내가 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(마쉬악)의 마음으로 너희 모두를 얼마나 그리워하는지는 하나님(엘로힘)이 나의 증인이시라.

9  And²⁵³² this⁵¹²⁴ I pray,⁴³³⁶ that²⁴⁴³ your⁵²¹⁶ love²⁶ may abound⁴⁰⁵² yet²⁰⁸⁹ more³¹²³ and²⁵³² more³¹²³ in¹⁷²² knowledge¹⁹²² and²⁵³² in all³⁹⁵⁶ judgment;¹⁴⁴

9  내가 기도하노라 너희 사랑을 지식과 모든 총명으로 점점 더 풍성하게 하사

9  And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in full knowledge and in all perception;

9   내가 이것을 기도하노니, 너희의 사랑이 지식과 모든 판단에 있어서 더욱더 풍성하게 되어

10  That ye⁵²⁰⁹ may approve¹³⁸¹ things that are excellent;¹³⁰⁸ that²⁴⁴³ ye may be⁵⁶⁰⁰ sincere¹⁵⁰⁶ and²⁵³² without offense⁶⁷⁷ till¹⁵¹⁹ the day²²⁵⁰ of Christ;⁵⁵⁴⁷

10  너희로 지극히 선한 것을 분별하며 또 진실하여 허물 없이 그리스도의G5547 날까지 이르고

10  that you may distinguish between things that differ, that you may be sincere and without offense until the day of Jesus Christ,

10  너희가 가장 좋은 것들을 분별하며, 또 그리스도(마쉬악)의 날까지 순수하고 흠 없게 되기를 바라며

11  Being filled⁴¹³⁷ with the fruits²⁵⁹⁰ of righteousness,¹³⁴³ which³⁵⁸⁸ are by¹²²³ Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ unto¹⁵¹⁹ the glory¹³⁹¹ and²⁵³² praise¹⁸⁶⁸ of God.²³¹⁶

11  예수G2424 그리스도로G5547 말미암아 의의 열매가 가득하여 하나님의G2316 영광과 찬송이 되게 하시기를 구하노라

11  being filled with the fruits of righteousness through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

11   예수(야슈아) 그리스도(하 마쉬악)를 통하여 얻는 의의 열매들로 가득 차서, 하나님(야훼)께 영광과 찬양이 되기를 바라노라.

12  But¹¹⁶¹ I would¹⁰¹⁴ ye⁵²⁰⁹ should understand,¹⁰⁹⁷ brethren,⁸⁰ that³⁷⁵⁴ the things³⁵⁸⁸ which happened unto²⁵⁹⁶ me¹⁶⁹¹ have fallen out²⁰⁶⁴ rather³¹²³ unto¹⁵¹⁹ the furtherance⁴²⁹⁷ of the³⁵⁸⁸ gospel;²⁰⁹⁸

12  형제들아 나의 당한 일이 도리어 복음의 진보가 된 줄을 너희가 알기를 원하노라

12  But I desire that you should understand, brothers, that the things which happened to me have fallen out rather to the furtherance of the gospel;

12   그러나 형제들아, 내게 일어났던 일들이 오히려 복음의 진전이 되었음을 너희가 알기를 원하노니

13  So that⁵⁶²⁰ my³⁴⁵⁰ bonds¹¹⁹⁹ in¹⁷²² Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ are¹⁰⁹⁶ manifest⁵³¹⁸ in¹⁷²² all³⁶⁵⁰ the³⁵⁸⁸ palace,⁴²³² and²⁵³² in all³⁹⁵⁶ other³⁰⁶² places;

13  이러므로 나의 매임이 그리스도G5547 안에서 온 시위대 안과 기타 모든 사람에게 나타났으니

13  so that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places.

13  이는 그리스도(마쉬악) 안에서 나의 갇힘이 모든 궁전 안과 다른 모든 곳에도 알려졌음이라.

14  And²⁵³² many⁴¹¹⁹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ brethren⁸⁰ in¹⁷²² the Lord,²⁹⁶² waxing confident³⁹⁸² by my³⁴⁵⁰ bonds,¹¹⁹⁹ are much more bold^{5111, 4056} to speak²⁹⁸⁰ the³⁵⁸⁸ word³⁰⁵⁶ without fear.⁸⁷⁰

14  형제 중 다수가 나의 매임을 인하여 주G2962 안에서 신뢰하므로 겁 없이 하나님의G2316 말씀을 더욱 담대히 말하게 되었느니라

14  And most of the brothers in the Lord, becoming confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the Word without fear.

14  그리하여 주(야훼) 안에 있는 형제들 중에서 많은 사람이 나의 갇힘으로 인하여 확신이 커져서 두려움 없이 더욱 담대히 말씀을 전하였느니라.

15  Some⁵¹⁰⁰ indeed³³⁰³ preach²⁷⁸⁴ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ even²⁵³² of¹²²³ envy⁵³⁵⁵ and²⁵³² strife;²⁰⁵⁴ and¹¹⁶¹ some⁵¹⁰⁰ also²⁵³² of¹²²³ good will:²¹⁰⁷

15  어떤이들은 투기와 분쟁으로 어떤이들은 착한 뜻으로 그리스도를G5547 전파하나니

15  Some indeed even preach Christ because of envy and strife, and some also of good will.

15   어떤 사람들은 심지어 시기와 다툼으로 그리스도(마쉬악)를 전파하며, 또 어떤 사람들은 선한 뜻에서 전파하니

16  The one^{3588, 3303} preach²⁶⁰⁵ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ of¹⁵³⁷ contention,²⁰⁵² not³⁷⁵⁶ sincerely,⁵⁵ supposing³⁶³³ to add²⁰¹⁸ affliction²³⁴⁷ to my³⁴⁵⁰ bonds:¹¹⁹⁹

16  이들은 내가 복음을 변명하기 위하여 세우심을 받은줄 알고 사랑으로 하나

16  Those, indeed, preach Christ out of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds.

16   저들은 나의 갇힘에 고난이 더하여질 줄로 짐작하여 순수하지 못하게 다툼으로 그리스도(마쉬악)를 전파하나

17  But¹¹⁶¹ the other³⁵⁸⁸ of¹⁵³⁷ love,²⁶ knowing¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ I am set²⁷⁴⁹ for¹⁵¹⁹ the defense⁶²⁷ of the³⁵⁸⁸ gospel.²⁰⁹⁸

17  저들은 나의 매임에 괴로움을 더하게 할 줄로 생각하여 순전치 못하게 다툼으로 그리스도를G5547 전파하느니라

17  But these others preach in love, knowing that I am set for the defense of the gospel.

17  이들은 내가 복음을 지키려고 세우심을 받은 줄 알고 사랑으로 전하느니라.

18  What⁵¹⁰¹ then?¹⁰⁶³ notwithstanding,⁴¹³³ every³⁹⁵⁶ way,⁵¹⁵⁸ whether¹⁵³⁵ in pretense,⁴³⁹² or¹⁵³⁵ in truth,²²⁵ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ is preached;²⁶⁰⁵ and²⁵³² I therein^{1722, 5129} do rejoice,⁵⁴⁶³ yea,²³⁵ and²⁵³² will rejoice.⁵⁴⁶³

18  그러면 무엇이뇨 외모로 하나 참으로 하나 무슨 방도로 하든지 전파되는 것은 그리스도G5547니 이로써 내가 기뻐하고 또한 기뻐하리라

18  What then? Nevertheless, in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached. And I rejoice in this. Yet, also I will rejoice.

18 그러면 무엇이냐? 가식으로나 진실로나 무슨 방법으로 하든지 전파되는 것은 그리스도(마쉬악이)니, 이것으로 내가 기뻐하며 앞으로도 기뻐하리라.

19  For¹⁰⁶³ I know¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ this⁵¹²⁴ shall turn⁵⁷⁶ to¹⁵¹⁹ my³⁴²⁷ salvation⁴⁹⁹¹ through¹²²³ your⁵²¹⁶ prayer,¹¹⁶² and²⁵³² the supply²⁰²⁴ of the³⁵⁸⁸ Spirit⁴¹⁵¹ of Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷

19  이것이 너희 간구와 예수G2424 그리스도의G5547 성령의 도우심으로 내 구원에 이르게 할줄 아는고로

19  For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

19  이는 내가 이것이 너희의 기도와 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(하 마쉬악)의 영의 공급으로 나를 구원에 이르게 할 줄 알기 때문이라.

20  According²⁵⁹⁶ to my³⁴⁵⁰ earnest expectation⁶⁰³ and²⁵³² my hope,¹⁶⁸⁰ that³⁷⁵⁴ in¹⁷²² nothing³⁷⁶² I shall be ashamed,¹⁵³ but²³⁵ that with¹⁷²² all³⁹⁵⁶ boldness,³⁹⁵⁴ as⁵⁶¹³ always,³⁸⁴² so now³⁵⁶⁸ also²⁵³² Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ shall be magnified³¹⁷⁰ in¹⁷²² my³⁴⁵⁰ body,⁴⁹⁸³ whether¹⁵³⁵ it be by¹²²³ life,²²²² or¹⁵³⁵ by¹²²³ death.²²⁸⁸

20  나의 간절한 기대와 소망을 따라 아무 일에든지 부끄럽지 아니하고 오직 전과 같이 이제도 온전히 담대하여 살든지 죽든지 내 몸에서 그리스도가G5547 존귀히 되게 하려 하나니

20  according to my earnest expectation and hope that I shall be ashamed in nothing, but as always now Christ shall be magnified in my body with all boldness, whether it is by life or by death.

20  나의 간절한 기도와 소망에 따라 내가 어떤 일에도 부끄러움을 당하지 아니하고 항상 그러하듯이 지금도 온전히 담대하여 살든지 죽든지 그리스도(마쉬악께서)가 내 몸 안에서 늘 높임을 받으시게 하려는 것이라.

21  For¹⁰⁶³ to me¹⁶⁹⁸ to live²¹⁹⁸ is Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ and²⁵³² to die⁵⁹⁹ is gain.²⁷⁷¹

21  이는 내게 사는 것이 그리스도니G5547 죽는 것도 유익함이니라

21  For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

21  이는 내게 사는 것이 그리스도(마쉬악이)니 죽는 것도 유익함이라.

22  But¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴⁸⁷ I live²¹⁹⁸ in¹⁷²² the flesh,⁴⁵⁶¹ this⁵¹²⁴ is the fruit²⁵⁹⁰ of my³⁴²⁷ labor:²⁰⁴¹ yet²⁵³² what⁵¹⁰¹ I shall choose¹³⁸ I wot¹¹⁰⁷ not.³⁷⁵⁶

22  그러나 만일 육신으로 사는 이것이 내 일의 열매일진대 무엇을 가릴는지 나는 알지 못하노라

22  But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labor. Yet I do not know what I shall choose.

22  그러나 만일 내가 육신으로 산다면 이것은 내 수고의 열매니 무엇을 선택해야 할지 나는 아직 알지 못하노라.

23  For¹⁰⁶³ I am in a strait⁴⁹¹² between¹⁵³⁷ two,¹⁴¹⁷ having²¹⁹² a desire¹⁹³⁹ to depart,³⁶⁰ and²⁵³² to be¹⁵¹¹ with⁴⁸⁶² Christ;⁵⁵⁴⁷ which is far^{4183, 3123} better:²⁹⁰⁹

23  내가 그 두 사이에 끼였으니 떠나서 그리스도G5547와 함께 있을 욕망을 가진 이것이 더욱 좋으나

23  For I am pressed together by the two: having a desire to depart and to be with Christ, which is far better.

23    내가 그 둘 사이에 끼여 있으니 내가 떠나서 그리스도(마쉬악과)와 함께 있을 욕망을 갖는 그것이 훨씬 좋으나

24  Nevertheless¹¹⁶¹ to abide¹⁹⁶¹ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ flesh⁴⁵⁶¹ is more needful³¹⁶ for¹²²³ you.⁵²⁰⁹

24  그러나 내가 육신에 거하는 것이 너희를 위하여 더 유익하리라

24  But to remain in the flesh is more needful for you.

24 육신에 남아 있는 것이 너희를 위하여 더욱 필요하리라.

25  And²⁵³² having this confidence,^{3982, 5124} I know¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ I shall abide³³⁰⁶ and²⁵³² continue with⁴⁸³⁹ you⁵²¹³ all³⁹⁵⁶ for¹⁵¹⁹ your⁵²¹⁶ furtherance⁴²⁹⁷ and²⁵³² joy⁵⁴⁷⁹ of faith;⁴¹⁰²

25  내가 살 것과 너희 믿음의 진보와 기쁨을 위하여 너희 무리와 함께 거할 이것을 확실히 아노니

25  And having this confidence, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all, for your advancement and joy of faith,

25  이런 확신이 있으므로 나는 너희의 믿음의 진보와 기쁨을 위하여 너희 모두와 함께 계속 남아 있을 줄 아노라.

26  That²⁴⁴³ your⁵²¹⁶ rejoicing²⁷⁴⁵ may be more abundant⁴⁰⁵² in¹⁷²² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ for¹⁷²² me¹⁶⁹⁸ by¹²²³ my¹⁶⁹⁹ coming³⁹⁵² to⁴³¹⁴ you⁵²⁰⁹ again.³⁸²⁵

26  내가 다시 너희와 같이 있음으로 그리스도G5547 예수G2424 안에서 너희 자랑이 나를 인하여 풍성하게 하려 함이라

26  so that your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.

26  이는 내가 너희에게 다시 감으로 너희의 기쁨이 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(마쉬악) 안에서 나로 인하여 더욱 풍성하게 하려는 것이라.

27  Only³⁴⁴⁰ let your conversation be⁴¹⁷⁶ as it becometh⁵¹⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ gospel²⁰⁹⁸ of Christ:⁵⁵⁴⁷ that²⁴⁴³ whether¹⁵³⁵ I come²⁰⁶⁴ and²⁵³² see¹⁴⁹² you,⁵²⁰⁹ or else¹⁵³⁵ be absent,⁵⁴⁸ I may hear¹⁹¹ of your affairs,^{5216, 4012} that³⁷⁵⁴ ye stand fast⁴⁷³⁹ in¹⁷²² one¹⁵²⁰ spirit,⁴¹⁵¹ with one³³⁹¹ mind⁵⁵⁹⁰ striving together⁴⁸⁶⁶ for the³⁵⁸⁸ faith⁴¹⁰² of the³⁵⁸⁸ gospel;²⁰⁹⁸

27  오직 너희는 그리스도G5547 복음에 합당하게 생활하라 이는 내가 너희를 가보나 떠나 있으나 너희가 일심으로 서서 한 뜻으로 복음의 신앙을 위하여 협력하는 것과

27  Only let your conduct be as becomes the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you, or else am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, striving together with one mind for the faith of the gospel,

27  오직 너희의 행위가 그리스도(마쉬악)의 복음에 합당하게 되라. 이는 내가 가서 보든지 멀리 떨어져 있든지 너희가 한 영 안에 굳게 서서 한 마음으로 복음의 믿음을 위하여 함께 싸우고 있다는 소식을 듣고자 함이라.

28  And²⁵³² in¹⁷²² nothing³³⁶⁷ terrified^{4426, 3361} by⁵²⁵⁹ your adversaries:⁴⁸⁰ which³⁷⁴⁸ is²⁰⁷⁶ to them⁸⁴⁶ an⁽³³⁰³⁾ evident token¹⁷³² of perdition,⁶⁸⁴ but¹¹⁶¹ to you⁵²¹³ of salvation,⁴⁹⁹¹ and²⁵³² that⁵¹²⁴ of⁵⁷⁵ God.²³¹⁶

28  아무 일에든지 대적하는 자를 인하여 두려워하지 아니하는 이 일을 듣고자 함이라 이것이 저희에게는 멸망의 빙거요 너희에게는 구원의 빙거니 이는 하나님께G2316로부터 난 것이니라

28  and terrified in nothing by your adversaries. For this is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.

28  반대하는 자들로 인하여 아무것도 두려워할 것이 없나니 이것이 그들에게는 정녕 멸망의 표며, 너희에게는 구원의 표니 이는 하나님(야훼)께로부터 나온 것이라.

29  For³⁷⁵⁴ unto you⁵²¹³ it is given⁵⁴⁸³ in the behalf⁵²²⁸ of Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ not³⁷⁵⁶ only³⁴⁴⁰ to believe⁴¹⁰⁰ on¹⁵¹⁹ him,⁸⁴⁶ but²³⁵ also²⁵³² to suffer³⁹⁵⁸ for his sake;^{5228, 846}

29  그리스도를G5547 위하여 너희에게 은혜를 주신 것은 다만 그를 믿을뿐 아니라 또한 그를 위하여 고난도 받게 하심이라

29  For to you it is given on behalf of Christ not only to believe on Him, but also to suffer for His sake,

29   그리스도(마쉬악을)를 위하여 그것이 너희에게 주어진 것은 그를 믿을 뿐만 아니라 그를 위하여 고난도 받게 하려는 것이니
