1  This⁵¹²⁴ is the third time⁵¹⁵⁴ I am coming²⁰⁶⁴ to⁴³¹⁴ you.⁵²⁰⁹ In¹⁹⁰⁹ the mouth⁴⁷⁵⁰ of two¹⁴¹⁷ or²⁵³² three⁵¹⁴⁰ witnesses³¹⁴⁴ shall every³⁹⁵⁶ word⁴⁴⁸⁷ be established.²⁴⁷⁶

1  내가 이제 세번째 너희에게 갈터이니 두 세 증인의 입으로 말마다 확정하리라

1  I am coming to you this third time. In the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.

1  내가 이제 세 번째 너희에게 가노니, 모든 말은 두세 증인의 입으로 확정될 것이라.

2  I told you before,⁴²⁸⁰ and²⁵³² foretell⁴³⁰² you, as if⁵⁶¹³ I were present,³⁹¹⁸ the³⁵⁸⁸ second time;¹²⁰⁸ and²⁵³² being absent⁵⁴⁸ now³⁵⁶⁸ I write¹¹²⁵ to them which heretofore have sinned,⁴²⁵⁸ and²⁵³² to all³⁹⁵⁶ other,³⁰⁶² that,³⁷⁵⁴ if¹⁴³⁷ I come²⁰⁶⁴ again,³⁸²⁵ I will not³⁷⁵⁶ spare:⁵³³⁹

2  내가 이미 말하였거니와 지금 떠나 있으나 두번째 대면하였을 때와 같이 전에 죄 지은 자들과 그 남은 모든 사람에게 미리 말하노니 내가 다시 가면 용서하지 아니하리라

2  I told you before, and I say beforehand, as being present the second time and being absent now. I write to those who sinned before, and to all the rest, that if I come again, I will not spare.

2  내가 두 번째 너희와 함께 있을 때 앞서도 말했고 또 미리 말해 두지만, 이제 떠나 있는 동안 전에 죄 지은 사람들과 나머지 모든 사람에게 쓰노니 내가 다시 가면 용서하지 않으리라.

3  Since¹⁸⁹³ ye seek²²¹² a proof¹³⁸² of Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ speaking²⁹⁸⁰ in¹⁷²² me,¹⁶⁹⁸ which³⁷³⁹ to¹⁵¹⁹ you-ward⁵²⁰⁹ is not weak,^{770, 3756} but²³⁵ is mighty¹⁴¹⁴ in¹⁷²² you.⁵²¹³

3  이는 그리스도께서G5547 내 안에서 말씀하시는 증거를 너희가 구함이니 저가 너희를 향하여 약하지 않고 도리어 너희 안에서 강하시니라

3  Since you seek a proof of Christ speaking in me (who is not weak toward you, but is powerful in you;

3 너희가 내 안에서 그리스도(마쉬악)께서 말씀하시는 증거를 찾고 있으니, 그 분은 너희에 대하여 약하지 아니하시고 너희 안에서 강하시도다.

4  For¹⁰⁶³ though^{2532, 1487} he was crucified⁴⁷¹⁷ through¹⁵³⁷ weakness,⁷⁶⁹ yet²³⁵ he liveth²¹⁹⁸ by¹⁵³⁷ the power¹⁴¹¹ of God.²³¹⁶ For¹⁰⁶³ we²²⁴⁹ also²⁵³² are weak⁷⁷⁰ in¹⁷²² him,⁸⁴⁶ but²³⁵ we shall live²¹⁹⁸ with⁴⁸⁶² him⁸⁴⁶ by¹⁵³⁷ the power¹⁴¹¹ of God²³¹⁶ toward¹⁵¹⁹ you.⁵²⁰⁹

4  그리스도(그분)께서 약하심으로 십자가에 못 박히셨으나 오직 하나님의G2316 능력으로 살으셨으니 우리도 저의 안에서 약하나 너희를 향하여 하나님의 G2316능력으로 저와 함께 살리라

4  for even if He was crucified out of weakness, yet He lives by the power of God. For indeed even we are weak in Him, but we shall live with Him by the power of God toward you),

4  그 분은 약하심으로 십자가에 처형되셨지만, 하나님(야훼)의 능력으로 살아 계시느니라. 우리 역시 그 분 안에서 약하지만 너희를 향한 하나님(야훼)의 능력으로 그 분과 함께 살 것이라.

5  Examine³⁹⁸⁵ yourselves,¹⁴³⁸ whether¹⁴⁸⁷ ye be²⁰⁷⁵ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ faith;⁴¹⁰² prove¹³⁸¹ your own selves.^{1438 (2228)} Know¹⁹²¹ ye not³⁷⁵⁶ your own selves,^{1438 (2228)} how that³⁷⁵⁴ Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ is²⁰⁷⁶ in¹⁷²² you,⁵²¹³ except¹⁵⁰⁹ ye be²⁰⁷⁵ reprobates?⁹⁶

5  너희가 믿음에 있는가 너희 자신을 시험하고 너희 자신을 확증하라 예수G2424 그리스도께서G5547 너희 안에 계신 줄을 너희가 스스로 알지 못하느냐 그렇지 않으면 너희가 버리운 자니라

5  examine yourselves, whether you are in the faith, prove your own selves. Do you not know your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you, unless you are reprobates?

5  너희가 믿음 안에 있는지 너희 자신을 시험하고 스스로 입증하라. 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(마쉬악)께서 너희 안에 계신 것을 스스로 알지 못하느냐? 그렇지 못하면 너희는 버림받은 자들이라.

6  But¹¹⁶¹ I trust¹⁶⁷⁹ that³⁷⁵⁴ ye shall know¹⁰⁹⁷ that³⁷⁵⁴ we²²⁴⁹ are²⁰⁷⁰ not³⁷⁵⁶ reprobates.⁹⁶

6  우리가 버리운 자 되지 아니한 것을 너희가 알기를 내가 바라고

6  But I trust that you will know that we are not reprobates.

6  그러나 내가 바라는 것은 우리가 버림받은 자들이 아닌 것을 너희가 아는 것이라.

7  Now¹¹⁶¹ I pray²¹⁷² to⁴³¹⁴ God²³¹⁶ that ye^{5209, (3361)} do⁴¹⁶⁰ no³³⁶⁷ evil;²⁵⁵⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ that²⁴⁴³ we²²⁴⁹ should appear⁵³¹⁶ approved,¹³⁸⁴ but²³⁵ that²⁴⁴³ ye⁵²¹⁰ should do⁴¹⁶⁰ that which is honest,²⁵⁷⁰ though¹¹⁶¹ we²²⁴⁹ be⁵⁶⁰⁰ as⁵⁶¹³ reprobates.⁹⁶

7  우리가 하나님G2316 께서 너희로 악을 조금도 행하지 않게 하시기를 구하노니 이는 우리가 옳은 자임을 나타내고자 함이 아니라 오직 우리는 버리운 자 같을지라도 너희로 선을 행하게 하고자 함이라

7  But I pray to God for you not to do evil, none. And not that we may appear approved, but that you should do the good things, though we are deemed to be reprobates.

7    이제 나는 너희가 악을 행하지 아니하도록 하나님(엘로힘)께 기도하노니 이는 우리가 인정받은 자로 나타나려는 것이 아니라, 비록 우리가 버림받은 자같이 될지라도 너희로 정직한 것을 행하게 하려 함이라.

8  For¹⁰⁶³ we can do¹⁴¹⁰ nothing^{5100, 3756} against²⁵⁹⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ truth,²²⁵ but²³⁵ for⁵²²⁸ the³⁵⁸⁸ truth.²²⁵

8  우리는 진리를 거스려 아무 것도 할 수 없고 오직 진리를 위할 뿐이니

8  For we have no power against the truth, but for the truth.

8 우리가 진리를 거슬러서는 아무것도 할 수 없고 오직 진리를 위해서만 할 수 있느니라.

9  For¹⁰⁶³ we are glad,⁵⁴⁶³ when³⁷⁵² we²²⁴⁹ are weak,⁷⁷⁰ and¹¹⁶¹ ye⁵²¹⁰ are⁵⁶⁰⁰ strong:¹⁴¹⁵ and¹¹⁶¹ this⁵¹²⁴ also²⁵³² we wish,²¹⁷² even your⁵²¹⁶ perfection.²⁶⁷⁶

9  우리가 약할 때에 너희의 강한 것을 기뻐하고 또 이것을 위하여 구하니 곧 너희의 온전하게 되는 것이라

9  For we are glad when we are weak, and you are powerful. But we pray also for this, your perfection.

9    우리는 우리가 약할 때에 너희의 강한 것을 기뻐하노라. 이것은 또한 너희의 온전함을 위하여 우리가 기도하는 바라.

10  Therefore^{1223, 5124} I write¹¹²⁵ these things⁵⁰²³ being absent,⁵⁴⁸ lest³³⁶³ being present³⁹¹⁸ I should use⁵⁵³⁰ sharpness,⁶⁶⁴ according²⁵⁹⁶ to the³⁵⁸⁸ power¹⁸⁴⁹ which³⁷³⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord²⁹⁶² hath given¹³²⁵ me³⁴²⁷ to¹⁵¹⁹ edification,³⁶¹⁹ and²⁵³² not³⁷⁵⁶ to¹⁵¹⁹ destruction.²⁵⁰⁶

10  이를 인하여 내가 떠나 있을 때에 이렇게 쓰는 것은 대면할 때에 주께서G2962 너희를 파하려 하지 않고 세우려 하여 내게 주신 그 권세를 따라 엄하지 않게 하려 함이니라

10  Therefore I write these things while absent, lest being present I may not deal sharply with you according to the authority which the Lord gave me for building up, and not for pulling down.

10  그러므로 내가 떠나 있을 때 이것들을 쓰는 것은 내가 함께 있을 때 너희를 세우고 멸망치 않게 하시려고 주(아도나이H136 )께서 내게 주신 권세에 따라 엄하게 다스리지 아니하려는 것이라.

11  Finally,³⁰⁶³ brethren,⁸⁰ farewell.⁵⁴⁶³ Be perfect,²⁶⁷⁵ be of good comfort,³⁸⁷⁰ be of one mind,^{5426, 846} live in peace;¹⁵¹⁴ and²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ God²³¹⁶ of love²⁶ and²⁵³² peace¹⁵¹⁵ shall be²⁰⁷¹ with³³²⁶ you.⁵²¹⁶

11  마지막으로 말하노니 형제들아 기뻐하라 온전케 되며 위로를 받으며 마음을 같이 하며 평안할지어다 또 사랑과 평강의 하나님이G2316 너희와 함께 계시리라 거룩하게 입맞춤으로 서로 문안하라

11  Finally, brothers, rejoice. Perfect yourselves; encourage yourselves; mind the same thing; be at peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.

11   형제들아, 마지막으로 말하노니 기뻐하라. 온전하게 되라. 위로를 받으라. 한 마음을 품으라. 평안히 지내라. 그러면 사랑과 화평의 하나님(엘로힘)께서 너희와 함께 계시리라.

12  Greet⁷⁸² one another²⁴⁰ with¹⁷²² a holy⁴⁰ kiss.⁵³⁷⁰

12  모든 성도가 너희에게 문안하느니라

12  Greet one another with a holy kiss.

12  거룩한 입맞춤으로 서로 문안하라.

13  All³⁹⁵⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ saints⁴⁰ salute⁷⁸² you.⁵²⁰⁹

13  주 예수 그리스도의 은혜와 하나님의 사랑과 성령의 교통하심이 너희 무리와 함께 있을지어다

13  All the saints greet you.

13   모든 성도가 너희에게 문안하노라.

14  The³⁵⁸⁸ grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ of the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ and²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ love²⁶ of God,²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ communion²⁸⁴² of the³⁵⁸⁸ Holy⁴⁰ Ghost,⁴¹⁵¹ be with³³²⁶ you⁵²¹⁶ all.³⁹⁵⁶ Amen.²⁸¹

14  May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
